Random people drive by and see a guy with a boom mic standing next to a garbage can.  Normal day. ;)

These files were also posted in the game files.... Hmmm.  Some can be figured out, but ATS has an extra that can't be solved.  Also nice names SCS. ;)

Could they be new upcoming trucks?

This is how trucking sim development looks.
 ;D

Well, if they have so serious approach to ambient sounds authenticity, I am even afraid to think what else they can make for this game in 1.40, 1.41 and further.

This is the best photo though.

Wouldn't one be Colorado and maybe another be a delivery DLC?  Not sure of a third.

So, the New Scania appeared in ETS2 a year after she came out IRL, and new Western Star truck (named NEXT) will debut in ATS very shortly after official presentation. So, we can see how SCS is growing in truck manufacturers’ eyes.

Spoiler (hover to show)
Once again the Cascadia didn’t make it ;D.

Okay.... I want to be mad that the Cascadia is still not in the game... but how can I be mad?  I am excited to see what this Western Star (the least sold of the big truck brands in the US).

I think you are right.  Possibly the three final BIG US truck brands to be in the game.  Western Star was announced today!

I honestly expected it to be the Western Star 5700.  I didn't even know WS was revealing a new truck this year! (I never follow WS because they are a small player compared to the others).  Note that nearly every big US truck brand is from the Pacific Northwest.  I wonder why that is?

Also this new truck doesn't look like a long hauler as much, more vocational or day trip type truck.  Is SCS going to open ATS to more types of trucks?  Imagine even speciality trucks for log camps or mines?  Short but challenging journeys across a worksite? Hmmm.

NEW WESTERN STAR TEASER SITE

Western Star 5700

The truck will reveal IN REAL LIFE on September 29, 2020.  We'll see how quick SCS is with their reveal.  For sure, it will be the newest truck in the game and the quickest from reveal to release from all their games.  Very cool and exciting!

AWESOME NEWS!

Credit to Western Star, lol.  I tried to brighten the teaser photo they have.  They literally PURPOSELY blacked out the dark parts so you can't simply brighten it.  Well played Western Star, well played.

When I heard rumors about hidden WS dealerships in ATS 1.38, I also thought it will be 5700, although it would mean that SCS is presenting the 5-year old truck again (just like it was with Renault T and MAN TGX Euro 6 ;D). So, I am glad I was wrong.
Speaking of daycab — I think the new truck will certainly have the same set cab types as others, the manufacturer just decided to present the basic cab at first. Besides, they show the four-axle chassis and I see it mostly comes with a daycab or small sleeper (photos from SCS Forum):

I guess the area where those trucks are permitted is pretty small, so the big sleeper is not nessessary ;D.

This has me VERY excited.  Not only do we get the reveal of a brand new truck, but we will be among the FIRST to drive it too! :D

So you think we will get Colorado this year?  Would they really release an ATS and ETS2 DLC within a few months of one another?
