Another update in SCS blog: heavy duty tyres for Wheel Tuning Pack DLC
So, finally we will get optional 385/65 fatties for front wheels (like in Michelin DLC), and all new tyres will have more off-road tread design. Still, no paintable sidewalls :-\.

This update doesn't interest me all that much.  Might pass on this one. (Oh who am I kidding, I end up buying them anyways)    ::|

Edit: Lol! I already own it.

Once again, a piece of France from vanilla map will get a small update, this time it’s Calais.

Honestly, I prefer to cross the channel on a train instead of a ferry, but I agree that the Calais’ port looks too primitive (especially its road network), and needs to be revamped.

Thank goodness!  I have always wanted them to fix that port.  I use it more than any other port in the entire game.  Now hopefully they will cross that ferry and do a complete overhaul of the UK.  Good gosh that whole country looks primitive in ETS2.  So far the upgrades to the port look nice.  It makes the old port area look small and kind of cute. ;)  It is definitely making it seem larger (As they should) since it is one of the busiest ports in Europe.

There is also work on a new tunnel being done between Denmark and Germany.  Wonder if that will ever be implemented?

Very nice changes!  Calais really needed it. :)  So happy to see these changes.

In one of the port pics... does this truck and trailer look different to you?

Also don't forget, the new Western Star truck reveal is online, September 29, 2020.  :)

I think... the tandem van must be shorter than normal trailer.
If you make a screenshot from roughly equal angle, you will see that normal trailer will look pretty the same as on that picture, and unpopular one-axle short trailer from 1.33 upgrade looks shorter.

And, what is more important ;D, the second axle of that Volvo tractor is clearly visible. So, unlike that famous screenshot with Mack Anthem (or the trailer for Oregon DLC, where Volvo VNL was spotted), today’s pack of screenshots doesn’t contain any easter eggs... well... except for new excavator, but it’s not a secret than lowboy trailers and cargoes for them will be updated in ETS as well.

^ What he said.

I use that port quite often, so I am happy to see it improved.

I cannot wait!  I wonder when SCS will reveal it in their game? :) Nonetheless, new content is coming soon.

I have been scanning the SCS forums for new info.  Hoping Kraake may have said something, but alas, nothing I can find to add to our conversations.

ALL OF YOU! You must stop everything you are doing and watch this:
A road work in the narrow place, lots of mountain road features like folded signs and checkpoints with boom barriers, scenic overlooks with people... and it’s only one road! I’m so excited about this new DLC!
Of course, you can see also some related screenshots from today’s post, but for me, all locations from them look more impressive from driver’s POV.

P.S. So, is there anyone who’s going to watch the truck presentation for the first time in his life just because the computer game made him interested in that ;D?

UPD: Wow, it’s a really long daycab chassis, you can easily place there a small car ;D:

And... maybe it’s because of influence of this forum, but I noticed that presentation video had a lot of very dusty moments .

Yes, news coming from all over the place.  Western Star revealed the 49X truck too.  I may have watched a presentation video for a truck for the first time as well. ;)

Colorado is looking spectacular.  Right up there with Washington and Idaho's mountains.  It's going to be fun and among the last REAL mountains ATS will have (After they complete Montana).  East coast mountains are much smaller.

The truck looks great too!  It's a daycab mostly. Interesting.

I wonder if we will be getting a new "truck" class type for ATS.  I don't know what you call them, but those daytime trucks with the trailer pretty much attached... uhhh... lol.

Let me share a photo.

Like this type of class truck.
