The 14th amendment, Section 5 doesn’t say states can do anything.  "The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."

Trump barred from Colorado's ballot for 2024 election after our ruling

The Colorado Supreme Court cited the 14th Amendment in its ruling that bans former president Donald Trump from being listed on the state ballot for the 2024 election.

The order came down Tuesday from a court whose justices were all appointed by Democratic governors declared the front-runner for the GOP nomination ineligible for the White House.

Due to Trump's actions on January 6, 2021 (in which he did nothing), he will be removed from Colorado's presidential primary ballot.

It's likely that the nation's highest court will decide whether Trump can remain in the race.

Tuesday's decision marks the first time in history that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment has been used to disqualify a presidential candidate.

"A majority of the court holds that Trump is disqualified from holding the office of president under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment," the court wrote in its 4-3 decision.

Trump’s campaign released a statement following the ruling.

"Unsurprisingly, the all-Democrat appointed Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against President Trump, supporting a Soros-funded, left-wing group’s scheme to interfere in an election on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden by removing President Trump’s name from the ballot and eliminating the rights of Colorado voters to vote for the candidate of their choice,” a campaign spokesman, Steven Cheung, said. “We have full confidence that the U.S. Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these un-American lawsuits."

Colorado's highest court overturned a ruling from a district court judge who found that Trump incited an insurrection for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, but said he could not be barred from the ballot because it was unclear that the provision was intended to cover the presidency.

The court stayed its decision until Jan. 4, or until the U.S. Supreme Court rules on the case.

Trump's attorneys had promised to appeal any disqualification immediately to the U.S. Supreme Court, which has the final say about constitutional matters.

Donald Trump dominated the Iowa Cuacus with a record percentage of votes, winning every county in the state except one, which he lost by one vote.  Second places was Nikki Haley followed by Ron DeSantis.

Ron DeSantis today announced he is ending his campaign for President and placed all his support behind Donald Trump.

This comes at a time when Joe Biden has no campaign, a failing economy, multiple world events and wars expanding, and the lowest rating in US history for a President, yet the leftwing media keeps trying to prop him up as they continue to mount their attacks on Donald Trump.

Crazy times.

Trump destroys the competition in New Hampshire too.  Nikki Haley trails in a distant second in the primaries there last night.  Most outlets confirmed Trump would win within minutes.  So unless something major happens to either Trump or Biden, it seems like a rematch is likely for 2024.

So when I heard Howard Stern was going to interview Joe Biden, I was genuinely excited.    I thought of this hilarious Simpsons moment.

However, the onetime edgy shock jock has lost his barby prickles and gone smooth as a Ken doll.    The King of All Media, tehBad Boy of Radio, 1999-era Stern would have lambasted Unca Joe, picked apart all his policies, and handed him his wrinkled butt.  Not the Stern of 2024.  It was painfully apparent that Covid broke this man. Howard was decked out in a nice suit and was not just polite during the interview, but was ingratiating to the point of utter sycophantic fawning.    It was disgusting. It was shameful. The Stern of 1999 would want to sit on the head of the Stern of 2024 and fart.
