Post your fictional or real Halloween costumes you would dress up as. After Halloween, we will have a poll that everyone can vote in and select a winner for the best Halloween Costume!
POLL IS UP. It will closed on November 9th, 2016. You can choose up to three people. Thanks for the last minute people who mailed me their costumes.
-
I have no idea what I should be.....
-
I never know what to dress as. Granted I haven't in a long time, that might be part of it.
-
Flutternazi. Got the voice lol
-
Imma get a haircut this weekend+shave to be relatively accurate to my costume
-
^ A Civil War soldier?
-
Flutternazi. Got the voice lol
So THAT was the "reprehensible costume" you mentioned? XDD
I never know what to dress as either... >_<
-
He does have a civil war beard.
And yes lol.
-
I have no idea what to dress up as. Maybe as a blue collar dolt... oh.... wait a minute.
-
^ A Civil War soldier?
I said and SHAVE lmao
I have the beard but I'm gonna SHAVE it
-
I'm probably going to dress up as Darth Sion. I have relatively long hair, and fitting that in a bald cap may not be easy.
-
Time for a snippety snip snip.
-
So... if you were to Trick or Treat... what kind of candy do you want? What kind of candy did you used to like getting?
For me, GIVE ME CHOCOLATE. I loved Reese's.
-
I love reese's.
-
Reese's used to be better, back in the 90's. they were bigger, had a more savory chocolate, and more peanut butter.
I also like those newer TAKE 5 bars. Those Snicker's Squares with Peanut Butter inside are delicious. I also like the simplicity of the Milky Way Dark's... or whatever they are called.
-
Mounds and Stickers are my favorites.
-
Chocolate pls
-
Skittles are my favorite.
-
All the chocolate you can find. FANCY chocolate like Lindt, 100% cocoa!!!
-
I've got a question for y'all. Did you guys ever do that thing where you'd go to the rich people's houses to get the big candies?
I never did it but I remember hearing about it.
-
My cousins street was the "rich street". I didn't realize it at the time. But the one time I trick or treated there, I got HUGE foot long bars of candy. It was awesome.
But hey, bulk is better. I usually go to very close densely populated communities. I forget what they're called, there's a name for places like that. But yeah, lots of houses.
-

I did that with my friend one year. From one of those houses, we got two soda can and an apple.
-
An apple. Lol.
-
Yeah. We went to a wealthier part of town and someone was handing out dollar bills. :) Also those MASSIVE Hershey Bars.
-
I envy yall lul
-
Ok whats the weirdest Halloween item you've received? Be it candy or otherwise.
Other than that one house that always handed out little Jesus pamphlets with bags of M&Ms (I feel like the second half was a peace offering so they didn't get egged) mine had to be these weird foreign people who didn't seem to get what was going on so they threw bags of change from the second story window at us. The amounts were random handfuls in small plastic bags, no rhyme or reason to the amount. The year after they figured it out but still dropped the candy from the window rather than walk downstairs to the door.
-
I wouldn't say it was weird, but I remember a few houses had a Bible verse on a card that the homeowner wrapped around chocolate bars. I can not think of anything actually weird I got.
-
The year after they figured it out but still dropped the candy from the window rather than walk downstairs to the door.
That sounds like a cool house I would have frequented.
-
Half of my costume is done (http://imgur.com/a/j1XU9)
-
OH MY GOSH.... he has.... NO BEEARDDDD. :O I guess he can't be Blackbeard the Pirate this year.
-
Your face like shrinks in size when you shave your beard. You look so cute without your beard. I could just punch your little cheeks ^^
-
Yeah, you look very different without the beard.
-
I like ya without the beard. ;) I mean, you are fine either way... but.... *Holds my tongue.*
-
I feel like maybe if you combed your beard and had it neater and not so bushy it would look really nice.
Or maybe trim it a bit. But I do like the civil war beard.
You look cute either way.
-
Can I send you a Confederate Uniform to wear when you grow that beard back?
-
I'd like one.
-
You want a uniform?
-
I love uniforms. Like Nazi uniforms and Russian uniforms.
-
Union uniforms of Confederates?
-
Both would look awesome.
-
Nazi uniforms are neato
-
Totally neato.
-
So my Halloween costume will be....
Richard Nixon? Lol! I guess I will dress up as Richard Nixon. PEACE.
-
I will dress up as.... a scarecrow? Yes. A scarecrow.
-
Noice, scarecrows are neato
-
I will dress up as....... *BLANKS*
-
I was also thinking of dressing up as Dale Gribble.... but a scarecrow will do.

Happy Halloween! Your Halloween just got a little Hallo-weener!
-
I don't want a weener for Halloween. God Darrin, why you being so mysoginistic.
-
Everyone wants to be a WIENERfor Halloween though. Wiener.... winner.... wiener.... winner....
-
And my name for the day is, 'Darrin Hall & Oates.'
-
-
You're too young. You're just a baby. ;)
-
I done did my costume. Do we post them or are we waiting for a certain time?
-
Go ahead, do what you want haha.
I already went trick-or-treating. Racked in some good candy
-

I like that. I like that a lot. ;)

tfw it's barely a costume
Did anyone else dress up?
-
Full sized bars good.
And Ey, you're such a cutie Miggs.
And I was a horseback rider. A Russian one.
-
>full sized bars
god
-
Full sized sour skittles too. And goody bags of candy.
-
OOOO I love sour skittles
-
So do I. They're one of the few candies that are ACTUALLY sour.
-
Yea
What about them warheads though?
-
Love warheads. They actually almost make me pucker. The sour coating fades off a bit too fast. I like crybabies because the sour lingers longer and is pretty potent. Especially their gum balls that have the citric acid powder inside of them.
-
Great name, Darrin... err... Hall & Oates. Nice costume Miggs. :)
I didn't dress up. I haven't done anything remotely Halloween related in years. Stop trick or treating at like nine.
-
Halloween was quiet this year. I'm princess'd up but I didn't do much other than work and help pass out candy
-
Lol! Great costumes those who did do something, nice name change, Darrin! Also great costume Miggs, points for actually dressing up.
-
Warheads are sour, but then I spit them out when they get sweet.
-
Airheads are best candy
-
Eh, airheads are lame. Never got to eat them till I was older and then was disappointed by them. So much hype for such a mediocre candy. But I do like the apple flavor a bit. Apple flavor is good on anything.
-
I liked the Apple Airheads, but I overall don't like those candies much. I prefer the chocolates. Not into gummies as much.
-
Airheads, no way. I don't like taffy stuff.... unless they made it like super sour. That might be a good idea to do.
Have you guys had those chocolate covered potato chips? Those are amazing. Salty and sweet.
-
YES! Trader Joe's sells them almost year round too if you can't find them elsewhere. They are delicious.
-
Airheads, Skittles hell yes. Um...what else? Uhhhh.....Sweet Tarts! Love those. And the sour ones formerly called shock tarts.
-
Man, Blurr. You like all the candies I don't like. When I was a kid and went to houses with that stuff, I rejected it to my friends. Lol!
-
I loved M&Ms. :D Just give me a million of those fun size packages. I tried to go to the houses with the most chocolate. None of that other flavored, fruity, candy.
-
I'm eating a few M&Ms right now. ;)
-
Still passing out candy to kids right now.
-
What will happen to all your leftover candy, Soda?
-
Maybe sneak a few of the good candy bars into my snack drawer, give the rest to a church Sunday school maybe?
-
If you sneeze in that candy jar of yours, then no one would ask you for any. Keep it for yourself.
-
I don't need it all is the problem.
-
Kit kats I like too. And hersheys chocolate
-
I like Kitkats. I'd give you a break.
-
Break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar! *Does a little dance as I sing the song.*
-
I dislike MnM's. Except the pretzel one.
Kit Kat's are meh.
-
Soda dances to candy bar jingles.
-
3 Musketeers is my fave chocloate bar. Actually no. It's a tie between that and Milky Way
-
how do you dislike M&Ms? AHHH!
-
It's just chocolate. There's literally nothing special to them and that hard coating tastes gross.
-
3 Musketeers is my fave chocloate bar. Actually no. It's a tie between that and Milky Way
Those are both delicious. I like the Milk Way Dark's. :)
-
I like both of those too. :) They are pretty much the same thing, just made by different companies.
-
I am really crazing a wide array of candy right now.
-
My costume turned out decent considering I had forty minutes to construct it, and had no idea what I was doing. I used liquid rubber, which stuck to my hair, eyebrows, ears, etc.

Aren't you Mr. cutie! Looks good to me! That is actually really good in that short amount of time!
-
That looks great, Claof!
-
Can't see anything in the after picture.
-
Can't see anything in the after picture.
It adds to the spookiness!

In the light, it looks like a bad.
Here is a picture of it in the light. (http://i.imgur.com/I9Ga2oh.jpg)

Whoa, dang! I think you did a pretty good job there, C. :D
-
You did a good job! Really.
-
Oh wow, pretty cool.
-
Hope you all had a good Halloween. I don't know if we can really have a contest, can we?
-
We can. We just didn't vote yet haha.
-
I think a poll will be made.
-
Members have one more day to enter the contest. Poll will be set up tomorrow.

How do we enter the contest?
-
I- huh. I'm not sure.
I at first thought the contest was our spooky names and avatars. But like, has it now changed to the costumes we actually wore during Halloween?
-
Just by posting what you did for a costume, you entered.
-
POLL IS UP. It will close on November 9th, 2016. You can choose up to three people. Thanks for the last minute people who mailed me their costumes.
-
Start voting!!!!
-
We got a lot of people on tonight.
-
Last minute entries. They need to be demerited. ;)
-
I voted. :)
-
Cooooool.
-
I am liking the General thing Rainy had going on there. If I would have known, I would have done a general too. Send me the memo next time, Rainy.
-
Lol. Rainy's costume is cool.
Anything WWII is freaking awesome.
-
We could have had a whole group do a WWII themed thing.
-
Have some Allies, have some Axis.
-
I'll be axis. Their uniforms were wicked awesome.
-
I voted 3 at random I would join this as it sounds fun but I don't have a costume or feel confident.
-
You could have made up a costume. Most of these were fictional costumes. It is just for fun.
-
Gotta love [EDITED] XP
I call hacks! XP
-
No hacks. Public can't see the results.
-
I guess I'm too late to enter my shirtless Freddy Krueger (http://img02.deviantart.net/0622/i/2016/306/d/7/are_you_ready____for_freddy___redux_by_haggismccrablice-dan2k1v.jpg), eh? Oh, well. Feast your eyes on the beefcake anyway, ladies. ;D ;)
-
Ah maybe next year then if we do it then.
-

Dang! You did a good job! You would have earned a vote from me.
-
^same, I'd fear Freddy w/ sweater or no
-
So it seems the votes have ended us in a tie.

Why?
Ooooh, tie!
-
Congrats to our TIE winners.
I find it funny more women know how to tie ties then men do. ;)
-
Ikr? I hate trying to do ties!
-
It is strange. I think cuz it's easier for us since we face it and guys have to do it looking down at it
-
Or maybe we just like an excuse to stand over you girls and look down your blouse. while you fix us up.
-
I'm going to say a guilty pleasure... but I kind of like it when my girlfriend fixes my tie. :) I guess guys are weird. For the record, I know how to tie a tie.
-
Teach me the ways, Mr. Sunshine
-
I have a small gif somewhere around here that shows how to tie a tie.
-
Oh, I tied with Darrin! Darrin you had a great costume and funny pun name too. :) So congrats to you.
-
Teach me the ways, Mr. Sunshine
Get a tie.
Got that?
Okay.
Duct tape.
Pull off a piece of duct tape.
Tape part of it to your shirt, and the other part to your tie, and firmly press it onto you chest.
There, you have now got a totally fashionable tie, and the ladies will be all over you.
-
My sister-in-law simply bought me one of those ties with the adjustable elastic band behind it. You just put the loop around your collar, adjust the knot, and presto. Fashionable (http://orig07.deviantart.net/8170/f/2015/324/3/6/the_wedding_sweetchucks_by_haggismccrablice-d9hdtl7.jpg). (I'm the one on the far right... naturally.)

-
I have spoken!
-
There are also clip on ties. No way to accidentally strangle yourself with an elastic band.
-
Lul, I didn't even know that was something from Family Guy
