I eat food past the expiration date all the time.  Certain foods.

Some say "best used by" or "best eaten by"  You have more leeway on eating those then something that says "expiration date."  But usually if it still tastes good, it's fine.  A lot of companies put really early expiration dates to save themselves from possible lawsuits.

That is some insider insight for you all.

One thing to not eat after expiration dates are usually perishable foods.  But I think you are small enough to know that.
