I learned in a minivan.  Best thing in the world to learn in.  It's long, so it taught me to turn and handle differently around things.  It over-prepared me for my first car which was much smaller.  It was a great learning vehicle, easy to maneuver, etc!

I mean, we've practiced together, just it's hard finding time.

Like Darrin said, on the way to and from school. ;D  She's gonna go anyways, why not be the driver? :)

My first car that I actually drove was an old ass Chevy Gasser Dragster. Learn in something a lot smaller, preferably automatic.

Those are honestly great vehicles to learn in. I'm not even joking.  They are also the most practical car you can buy in most any situation, and affordable.

Okay, off my minivan soapbox.

If you ever get an interest in motorcycles, start on a 300 or a 600. XD I started on the 1000cc's and they're honestly just too scary.

And if you want to learn to fly airplanes, I recommend a Piper or Cessna... GEEZ GUYS, give him some room!  lol.

Anyway, back to cars. XD just use something easy to drive, low power. It's all about low risk and high reward maneuvers when beginning, so just drive around when you get the chance, simple turns and simple techniques. Don't be afraid to ask questions either.
