(applauses to both Kiku and NP)
Great, just great!

Spoiler (hover to show)
Does the pictured sniffing a flower lead to this-forum-related consequences? ;D

Thanks, @timmelon and @TheBeesSneeze !

LOL no, there was no flower sniffing involved, just my chrysanthemum avatar which gave NP this lovely idea.  :)

I love to make small drawing work for others as long as it's not too complicated since my skills are somewhat limited, but I hope nobody will be afraid to contact me, if they want some simple-ish art!  ;D
I might look scary on the outside, but i'm really not that bad!  :))

I must admit I had never heard the word "jerboa" before, although I know what kind of animal it is. In German it's totally different: "Wüstenspringmaus" = "desert jumping mouse".  :D

Ooh, well with such jumpy legs the jumping mouse makes perfect sense. They were called as "Hyppyrotta" which translates as "jumping rat", but it was changed and now we also call them as Jerboa, thou for me it's more familiar as jumping rat or jumping mouse :))

I can break down the word in German.  I see the "maus" part as mouse and the "spring" part as jumping.  But I wouldn't know what the "Wüsten" part of the word is. :D

Prior to Kiku's character being made, I had never heard of a jerboa before.
