Venom and Bane may be the most overrated villains of their respective comic book companies.  I mean, it's like, yeah, you used to be Spider-Man's second skin. Sure, you broke the got-dang Batman's back. Okay. Fine. That was, what, twenty-five, thirty years ago?  I say Marvel should give some of its lesser-known villains a chance to shine--like The Gibbon, or White Rabbit and The Walrus .

I can imagine it now... The Walrus, coming to a theater near you.  They can pretty much throw any half-brained idea on the big screen and the sheep public masses will buy into it, no matter how poor the story is.

Those two are tailor-made for animation, though-- surprised neither has turned up yet in a Spider-Man cartoon.  Imagine the web-head smacking around Walrus, doing a bad Swedish accent and making a joke about a woodpecker... and Ashleigh Ball as White Rabbit, using her Rainbow Dash voice.  I'd pay to see it.    ;D
