My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic - The Parent Map

It is the 8th episode of season 8.  This is the 177th episodes overall.  The episode premiers on May 5, 2018.

SYNOPSIS:
Starlight and Sunburst are called by the Cutie Map to solve a friendship problem that involves their estranged parents.

This episode suggests Starlight is at least in her forties... look carefully at that shot of her bedroom, which still looks just as it was when she left home. There's a pair of moon boots on the floor, which was last in style back in the early eighties   So...  yikes.

I thought that was a great episode and I really loved seeing Starlight and Sunburst be a star.  They were great together and had cute interactions.  I liked the town, though it's historic/progress thing can't be solved in an episode.  Also a nice twist in who they were trying to solve a friendship problem for.  They tried to trick us into thinking it was other problems.

9/10 and possibly my favorite episode this season.

What a wonderful episode.  Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst make a fun team to watch.  I will admit I was tricked about the outcome and didn't see that little ploy the writer coming!  This writer, whomever they are, did a great job!  I will give this episode a solid 9.

Awesome awesome episode!  I really like it and how it was more relatable for older audiences this time!  But they also made it so young's could relate to always feeling like just kids.  Really great! :D  I really thought the town was neat and would love to know more about their parents and see more interaction!  Overall this was a wonderful episode with a strong 9 rating.

They were popular when I was a kid in the early eighties, and made a brief resurgence back when I was in college.   I recall seeing the next-gen ones on the shelves at Kaybee's Toys in 1997 or '98.

Starlight, when she is in a lead position this season, dominates the episode.  This episode was great and loved seeing their parents.

This episode had me laughing and loving all the antics going on.  Starlight and Sunburst were great and so were the parents.  Sunburt's Mom, yowza. ;)
