I've had beer cases fall on me.  Thankfully they never shattered.

Back in an old job, I had two full pallets of milk crakes, full milk crates, fall on me.  I lived!

Unfortunately a few of the bottles in one of the six packs did. I didn't have to pay for it. The store just wrote it off.

I DID! :D  I almost got knocked out I think, but I turned at just the right time.  It nearly hit an important vein next to my eye and could have poked my eye out.  I got lucky.  It mainly fell partially on my side and I missed part of it.  But the brunt hit my face.  I was bleeding nonstop for well over an hour.  It was deep and hit something important.
