Zaxby's is a fast-food chain in the southern US.  They randomly have a store in Utah, which is their farthest west.  But otherwise all their chains are from Texas to Florida and as far north as Indiana.

It is very unhealthy friend southern food that is loaded in fat. :)  Delicious though.... I've had a meal of friend chicken strips and a cheese sandwich once from them in Georgia and another time in Missouri.... or something.  I liked the back to basics cheese sandwich.

It got its start in Georgia, but it's since branched out into another 17 states, including Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Florida.  Those fancy Coke machines were brought in just five years ago.

I'd say a step up to some other's in terms of food quality.  Their chicken was actually real chicken.  Not ground up... stuff.  It was white meat/rib meat pieces of chicken with actual chicken juices.

Yeah, they started in Athen's according to their history.  College town food staple.

I enjoy their Zalads. They're salads... but with that kicky "Z" in front.

I think the cheese sandwich is just Texas toast with a melted slab of that processed stuff plopped on top.
