It just felt weird... Seeing you post it in the drinking thread of all threads. You know?

But good to hear you got some of that companionship back. Humans are social creatures, and most suffer when forced to be isolated and not be able to interact with others.

Thanks everyone.

I don't mind being alone.  I actually prefer it.  But I just thought about the outside social pressures and people's perceptions around me and the world... it's like this for many people.  You have to follow sort of a set standard, or else you are a weird "outsider."  Even if it doesn't bother you... it sort of does.

Mhm, we put a lot of work in so the place went from box-hellhole to 'been lived in for years' apartment in a few days.  Put in some light fixtures, a medicine cabinet and a few other things and now it feels like home.
