Want to know a movie that really looks bad that I just saw an ad for? Whatever this is.
That looks absolutely horrible. That is why all the ads, they don't show the companies who made it. You for example won't see Nickelodeon's name anywhere on it, because they know it will be a failure film. Yes, this was funded by Nickelodeon, and it started way back in 2013, but has been pushed back many times because they new it just was horrible, and they kept trying to fix it. They then removed all their names from the film and are just going to show it, and hope no one pays attention that they produced it.
Several weeks in now, and it is failing horribly. As of January 16, 2017, Monster Trucks has grossed $14.2 million in the United States and Canada and $14.7 million in other territories for a worldwide total of $28.9 million. They spent over $124 million to make it. Big, big, big, loses.
