Polls have now closed in 16 more states, in addition to Washington, D.C., as well as in 50 percent of congressional districts across the U.S.

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren, of Massachusetts, is projected to win a second term in the Senate, defeating Republican state lawmaker Geoff Diehl

In Connecticut, Democratic Senator Chris Murphy will win a second term by defeating Republican Matthew Corey.

In Pennsylvania, Democratic Governor Tom Wolf will win a second term by defeating Republican businessman Scott Wagner.

Democratic billionaire J.B. Pritzker will unseat Illinois Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner. He’ll become the richest governor in U.S. history.

Democrats have spent millions on Beto O'Rourke to turn Texas from red to blue.  Here are our earliest numbers with 10% in.

Incumbent Democrat Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown will win a third term by defeating Republican Rep. Jim Renacci.

In Tennessee, businessman Bill Lee will succeed Gov. Bill Haslam, a fellow Republican, by defeating Democrat Karl Dean, former mayor of Nashville.

In Maryland, Republican Gov. Larry Hogan will win a second term by defeating Democrat Ben Jealous, the former president of the NAACP.

In Massachusetts, Republican Gov. Charlie Baker will win a second term by defeating Democrat Jay Gonzalez.

Two potential 2020 Democratic candidates, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, both easily won re-election tonight, keeping their presidential aspirations alive and thriving.

Gillum 49.1% (R)

After leading most of the night, the race is very tight and DeSantis has taken a slight lead.  This is going to come down to a wire.

NEW JERSEY

Results are going to start trickling in for New Jersey's senate race.  Incumbent Democrat Menendez is expected to beat Republican Hugin.  Menendez has been charged on multiple corruption charges but Democrats are still voting for him.

A key house race for a South Florida district has flipped from red to blue.

Democrat Donna Shalala has won the election for District 27, flipping a seat that had belonged to Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen since 2013.
