"Buckyball Season" will be the the 18th episode of season 6, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
It is written by new writer, Jennifer Skelly. It will premier September 3, 2016.
SYNOPSIS: "Ponyville and Appleloosa compete in a game of Buckball."
-
Just in time for football.
-
I'm worried it is going to be an episode that just has Applejack and Dash each train their players their own way, and not how the player wants to play.
-
In which case it would be similar to the cart episode, a.k.a. "3 episodes ago"?
Ick on both these points. Hopefully, it'll turn out to be something else.
-
Let us hope it isn't a re-used story like that. That has been way too much in tv shows and in MLP.
-
Why is Dash even in this episode?
Seems like something just AJ and the apples and Appleloosan's should be in.
Dash will make this episode crap. Betting $20 on it.
-
Betting someone has low expectations on this episode because of Dash. ;)
-
It's not solely because I hate her. It's because she has no business being there! It's like having Rarity be in this episode. It doesn't make sense. She's just here cuz "lols, she likes sports right?" And because the episode needs a conflict >_>
But yeah. Betting this episode sucks. And if it miraculously isn't, you guys make me write a new story.

Taking note of this. >:D

Go ahead. And it's a /new/ story. No asking for Autumn Summer or Knocked Down. (I'm already working on one of those, don't worry.)
-
I am going to be positive for this episode. So yeah. :)
-
Did no one watch todays episode?
-
I did not see it today.
-
Didn't have time. Was out all day, yesterday. Today, I must go to the Apple Store to see if my iPod's broken headphone jack can be fixed. Then I'll watch it. :)
While I'll just like the episode as always, I kinda bet it's not that good. ::)
-
The forum was super dead yesterday. I'm guessing everyone was out and didn't see the episode. I didn't. SO did, his summary of it didn't encourage me to see it either so... Waiting on everyone else's opinions now lol
-
It's Labor Day weekend, no one will be home to watch it the day of. Expect low ratings this week.
I didn't see it, but hopefully will today.
-
I don't have high hopes, but I am half way through this episode and love it so far. :) Lots of cool animation. I was worried with Applejack and Dash being their BAD selves that we've recently seen, but so far so good. Dash was even humble about something.
Though one thing that confused me, Snips seems to be.... the same age as everyone else now? Or at least way older and bigger.
We'll see what awaits in the second half when I return.

Predictable? Welllll.... yeah. Was it boring? No. Was it meh? No. Was it bad? No. Was it good? Yes.
This was a good episode. Yes, the story has been done before elsewhere, but they handled it differently here. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were competent and actually SMART. THEY REALIZED themselves they were not doing things right and solved the issue themselves in a clever and smart way. It was a good episode and it was a neat game they came up with. There were tons of butt shots, lol. Also many new backgrounds and some cool 3D animation shown in a train car. Overall, it was a good episode. 8/10.

It was good and handled very well. I saw it coming that Applejack and Dash would treat them and train them wrong, that was too be expected and I think it's been done like a million times lately. BUT I was so happy Applejack and Dash learned themselves how to solve the issue. They were not treated as stupid dolts, they were both pretty smart and learned from their mistake. Not everyone gets pumped up for a sports game the same way.
Also the game looked kinda fun... but sort of PONIEST? What if a poor unicorn didn't want to be a basket catcher? Lol! Anyways, it was a great episode, one of the better ones this season in my mind. 8/10.

Fixed headphone jack, new charger USB cable, back home, watched it.
It was a better episode than I expected. :) It had its funny moments. ;D
"Seriously, I don't think about anything... EVER." XDD
-
It was much better then I was expecting too. It was good and better then last weeks for sure. :) I would do a solid 8 score too.
-
I didn't think I was going to like this episode, but I really did. I thought it was fun, though Pinkie Pie's voice got annoying hearing her so much... she even cried! They had some great facial expressions.
Call me crazy, but I am going to rate this a high 9/10. I really liked this episode and have watched it twice.
-
This was a pretty good episode. I was surprised, and thought I should say it was good instead of say nothing. So nice job by them taking a cliche story, and making it BETTER then most.
-
It was cute watching them play, but very predictable. 8/10.
-
This episode had so many plot shots. It was everything I expected (Except the plot shots) but it was also pretty fun. You could tell what was going to happen from a mile away though. 8/10.
-
So predictable but I can't help but like this episode because seeing them have so much fun playing is super cute! It gets a better then average score of 7.
-
It was a cute episode. 8. Very predictable though.
