I'm actually ashamed. See for a while the longest run I went without puking was 10 years. I always used to say I was puke free since 03. But then in 2013 I ended up hurling from...you guessed it. Drinking too much.

Blur, dude.  Been there, know that hell.  Including the high-speed emotional roller coaster of, "So I broke up with my boyfriend...and I'm seeing this other guy now."  And I did my part to keep Cuervo in business for a while there.  Unfortunately life isn't like the movies, and I'm afraid your chances with her are slim to nil from the sounds of it.  So drink if you have to, as long as you don't have addictive inclinations, but work on shifting your hopes elsewhere.  Your best bet would be to focus on something productive, a hobby, career stuff, the gym, something you can do to improve yourself.  Not for her, for you.  And if it's something that'll get you around other people, all the better.  Acquaintances are good.
