What Kind of Car do You Own?
I have no idea if this will be popular or not, but I remember people talking a lot about cars and their love of driving, so I figured, why not have a topic on cars, automobiles, and all the sort! Maybe even share what you drive, want to drive, like, or don't like! Happy talking!
-
Another reason I brought this topic up is because the 2016 New York Auto Show is currently going on till the 24th. Lots of new cars. :) Who doesn't like new shiny cars?
-
This here is my car. A black 2006 Honda Element. I call it Pandora
-
Also, I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE driving long distance to places. LA, Disneyland, San Francisco, so much more. I want to drive across the country one day.
-
Oh boy!! Better get my car pic soon. :)
I too love to drive. You could say i have a drive to drive. I do it for fun.
-
2011 Ford Fusion!!! BAM!
-
That is a fine automobile Rainy
-
I will get a pic soon probably. Nice cars you two!
-
What made you guys choose the cars you did? Who here doesnt have a car and wants one?
-
I didn't exactly choose my car. I just inherited it from my brother when he got my moms old car.
-
Oh this will be fun. I will go get a pic of him. :)
-
My little 2010 Hyundai Elantra. I'm gonna replace him soon. He is kinda... problematic. At least he gets good gas mileage!
-
Hang on, I am gonna break the mold with two photos. I went out today in a parking lot and got two pics of my cars.
-
Come on, don't keep us waiting!
-
So this beat up 97' Jeep Cherokee was given to me. I use it as a beater car. It is pretty beat up, as it was when I was given the keys. So this is my fun car. Everything still works on it.
And now we have my "nice" car, a 2012 Dodge Avenger I got for cheap. It hasn't had any issues and has been a solid car. It feels pretty quick too.

So far, fun with stats.
4 people have 5 cars.
That is 1.25 cars per person on average. ;)
Our members so far own...
3 cars from America.
1 car from Japan.
1 car from South Korea.
2 CUV/SUV's.
4 cars.
1 car from the 1990s.
1 car from the 2000s.
3 cars from the 2010s.
-
Oooh, stats!
You Avenger looks pretty sporty, APD. :) I like it.

Didn't know you were from across the pond! Good looking hatch!

Ooooooooooh! I just bought a new car. I will get some pics and post them sometime.

As someone who is a car enthusiast... heh, I must say I am enjoying seeing what you guys have and own. Nice assortment.
-
Thanks for sharing Paws and Wolfwood!
-
Oh look hey, a new person! Hi!
I have no car, but I drive an assortment when I go home. A shitty ass Aviater from 2003 (with a sticky gas pedal), and an old 2000 blue BMW (we somehow managed to get a crap one with a bad transmission) and then some newer BMW's my parents got. I forget what versions they are. I can get photos soon.
-
Aviater from 2003 (with a sticky gas pedal),
A Lincoln Aviator with a sticky gas pedal? That is scary! I wouldn't drive that. lol!
-
Yeah, that's it! A Lincoln Aviator. I don't want to either, but sometimes you gotta drive what you're left with. It doesn't stick all the time. Just at the most inconvenient moments. Like on the highway! It's scary, the first time I almost panicked but I somehow managed to unstick it, I had to press down on it again. I don't know how I knew to do that, I think my foot was just trying to press anything to get it to stop accelerating.
-

Yeah, you did the write thing.
If you have some WD-40 or maybe just a damp cloth, go to the car with the engine off and in park and see if you can clean or spray around the gas pedal. That might help incase something is actually sticky and making it stick.
-
Oooh, hmm, okay. I'll tell my parents to do that. It is an old car that has had tons of stuff spilled all over it, so that could help. Thanks for that Grape :D
-
No problem. :) It's not that old. 2003 isn't old. ;)
-
Well, as soon as the five year warranty finished that's when everything went to hell. It started getting all sorts of problems.

Well, as soon as the five year warranty finished that's when everything went to hell. It started getting all sorts of problems.
Lincoln's had problems as of late, but they are trying to turn the corner as a company. They have some pretty cool designs coming soon and hopefully a turn around to make their brand prestigious again.
Hopefully they can save themselves like Cadillac did, or they might end up like what happened to Mercury....
CAR TALK, with Grapefoot.
-
Lincoln has a new Continental on the way and they just revealed a new concept Navigator. If they build some of their concepts, they should have their own niche in history still. :)
-
As of late? I think they've had problems for awhile. But really? I don't think my family will ever buy something from them again, didn't have good experiences with the car we got from them.
Cadillac has problems before? Really? I've always heard good things about their cars. And about Mercury too? Hm, I've only ever seen the commercials, but they're not around anymore.
-

...I'm interested.
-
Oh my cousins have a Navigator. Both my cousins did. Only on of them still have it though.

Cadillac was going through a downturn in the late 80s and into the 90s. They finally got their grip and started producing competitive cars again in the 2000s. They have cars now that are getting better marks then the German marques. Cadillac's biggest fail came when they built the Cadillac Catera, which was a rebadged piece of junk from some General Motors trash bin.
-
Oooh, okay. So makes sense why I've only heard good things. But wow seriously? Crazy, German cars are usually the best!
-

Clearly it's underpinnings is still a Ford Taurus, but it looks a heck of a lot better then anything they have right now, and they are aiming for pure luxury, while Cadillac is doing sporty luxury (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Continental#/media/File:Lincoln_continental_2015_(18967283782).jpg). Photo of new Continental (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Continental#/media/File:Lincoln_continental_2015_(18967283782).jpg).

I would beg to differ. Sure they have prestige, but they are in the shop all the time and expensive.
-
New Continental looks nice. :)
-
I know what you mean about in the shop all the time with my dad's old W. He really didn't get lucky with that car. It's the worst. But he still refuses to get rid of it.
-
My friend own a Beemer. It is seriously in the shop maybe once every other month. But they still keep trying to buy them.
A co-worker bought a brand new Volkswagen Jetta. In the shop all the time too, and now it is having transmission issues. Less then two years old.
Sadly, German cars do have a lot of problems.
Mercedes though seem to hold up very well. Have not heard many problems with them.
-
There is a lot of nice new products coming. :) A resurgence of many classic brands
-
Okay new question. Are they any special modifications your car has that sets it apart from others. Different speakers, paint job, etc. something to or a previous owner did?
-
Just seems like a waste of money to do stuff like that. At least from my family and my perspective.
-
I haven't even posted a pic of my car up yet!
-
Naw, what Leaping said.
-
Exactly. As long as the car is able to move, you don't need all that. ;)
-
I guess I will share the pics of my car then. I do plan on doing some upgrades though.... I am going to tint the windows more.
-
Oh cool. In my state it's illegal....
-
Brand new. Just bought her.

Wow! She looks nice!
I love the color, blue is my favorite color. Though I lean mostly to blue green.
Those seats look really comfy!
-
You win! You win the car pictures thing. That is an awesome looking car. That's the new Chrysler 200! They are beautiful and very fast sports sedans! Looks gorgeous. I love the curves and design. That interior looks top notch, CR!
-
Lol! Thanks guys. It is my first big purchase ever and I spent 6 months trying to choose the right car. I never thought I was going to drive away in a Chrysler. I test drove everything.... EVERYTHING. Love her so far, but she has less then 500 miles so far.
-
She looks beautiful. Glad you made a good purchase and put effort in choosing the right car. :)
-
"The curves and design" what are we talking about a woman or something here XD
-
When I get pictures I'll get more of mine

Aerodynamics are important for fuel economy!
Looks beautiful, Cap. I'm a little jelly xp
-
Dang, that Chrysler looks fantastic, Captain Ridiculous. Looks gorgeous, sleek, and wicked fast. :) Love that interior too. Looks very plush.
Ehh... wanna go on a road trip? ;) Lol!
-
Great looking cars.
Captain Ridiculous, love the blue on your car. It looks very sleek. Nice rims.
-
What's the longest any of you have ever driven?
-
like 17-18 hours. From Staten Island to Daytona Beach.
-
That I've driven? 5 hours from my house to my school.
Longest drive I've been on, like 18-20 hours. It was looooong.
-
What's the longest any of you have ever driven?
6 hours? Maybe.
-
These are the standard radio and headrest setups for my car.
-
These are the ones I have.
-
Dude! You modified the car!!!
Do you have passengers who use that back tv thing? Very cool.
-
I actually didn't do a thing. My brother did that before I got it.
And yes the DVD player and screens are functional I just need to have passengers or friends here to actually use them
-
Just like the car i showed you it has a built in one that came with the car its bluetooth as well. And here's the standard engine.
-
Very interesting modifications, Blurr.
-
Just like the car i showed you it has a built in one that came with the car its bluetooth as well. And here's the standard engine.

I not sure but it does have a turbo and other modifications.
-
Okay, I'm gonna do something. Gonna do something involving horsepower!!!!
-
Actually, never mind... too much work. ;) Great pics all.
-
I finally found out the bhp which is 189 bhp.
-
That is a good amount of horsepower for a light hatch. Nice.
How much does your 200S have, CR? If it is stock, then it makes 300hp?
Also APD, you Avenger probably makes a good amount of horsepower too.
-
Does anyone here do their own mechanical work on their vehicle? Oil changes etc?
-
I've helped my dad tape back on side view mirrors I've busted off. Yes I've busted off one. And I wasn't even driving.... I fell into it. Then I helped replace the glass on another side view mirror I busted. That time I was driving. I smacked into a mailbox.
My dad is also going to replace the 4 wheels on his own I think. Or with a help of a few people he knows.
-
Also APD, you Avenger probably makes a good amount of horsepower too.
283hp to be exact.
Does anyone here do their own mechanical work on their vehicle? Oil changes etc?
I change the lights, the windshield wipers, the oil (sometimes) and that is about the extent of my car working capabilities.
-
How much does your 200S have, CR? If it is stock, then it makes 300hp?
With a minor modification, 305hp. With a soon to be other minor modification, between 340 to 355hp.
-

Hey Captain Fantastic... er, Captain Ridiculous, I have some questions about your car. I found one NEW that seems too good to pass up. But I want to know what you think about your car, gas mileage, room, power, etc.
-
Hey Captain Fantastic... er, Captain Ridiculous, I have some questions about your car. I found one NEW that seems too good to pass up. But I want to know what you think about your car, gas mileage, room, power, etc.
We can PM each other if you would like.
Here are some quick basics. You will get better gas mileage with FWD and the smaller engine. I got the AWD and the biggest engine available. So on the freeway, I can still easily get 30mpg or beyond that. But most of my driving is urban/suburban and light freeway. I am averaging about 24.4mpg. That is better then the EPA for what I have. Though I know if it was a freeway car, I would easily get well over 30mpg.
I feel there is plenty of room, tons of storage. Interior is top of the class. Back seat is a tad smaller then the competition. I love the power, which is why I got the big engine. It is very quick and fast and before you realize it, you can easily be topping the speed limit. There are a ton of special features, and the UConnect system in the car can be set to warn you of the speed limit.
Get the 8.4 UConnect system in the car. Also, the smaller engine, wasn't as impressive as the bigger engines. It will be slower, though that may be all you want.
Your car isn't that old, but I don't know your mileage. Think hard and long, because there will always be new cars. New cars are a lot of money and sometimes a lightly used car is just as good.
A car that gets great gas mileage, but isn't all that powerful, is the Mazda6. It was my second choice. While it was good, for the money, you get a luxury car in the Chrysler, while the Mazda would be average. Check dealer incentives.
-
DUDE! I want to go for the V6, but will probably get the FWD, because it costs less. Okay, I will totally message you for more.
I sat in the car and was so impressed. I honestly felt like I was in a luxury car like a BMW or Audi or something. Going to test drive one tomorrow.
-
An "old" car is what I own. It is about a 2000 rav 4. It still runs fine, even if it is over a decade old.
-
I don't own a car, my parents do tho .w.
-
I don't own a car, my parents do tho .w.
Which leads to the question, what kind? :)
-
This man's reactions to sitting in this old "ordinary" car makes me so happy. I know how he feels. What's funny, is this car was something no one appreciated. It was a cheap economy car, but now, so many years later and in such good condition as the one he found here, it's like a gem. I still find it funny his reactions. Even today though, if you can even find one of these cars, no one wants them. Give it a watch for a good laugh at his outward thought process.

He seemed very pleased to step into that car. I will admit, it looked super old inside, but was in super good shape! Looked new!
-
Okay, am I doing this right? I'm gonna directly post the picture here. Here's my car.

Okay, this isn't mine. Mine is dark green. You get the idea, though. ;)
Got it last month. Only crashed once (under my ownership). Very little damage.
-
Congrats on the new car, Numbers! :D
-
Thanks! ;D
-
Congrats, Numbers! You not only got a car, but you are now a statistic that is used to say new drivers hit stuff. ;)
Bet you get good gas mileage with that.
-
Yep. :P
Yep. :)
-
Hue, GG Numbers :P
Nice car, also, Green? Green isn't a creative color!
-
Hey, it's not like I had a say in it, gurl. :P It used to belong to my grandparents. They gave it to me when they got a new car. Also because it was gonna be my birthday. :)
Plus, I haven't seen a lot of green cars around here. :P
-
Green is unique. Take that with pride my friend! Congrats! Happy B-Day soon.
This color green?
-
Exactly. :D Also, happy B-day last month. :P
-
Oooh, that green isn't bad. I thought you meant like bright neon green lol. That green is pretty mellow.
Exactly. :D Also, happy B-day last month. :P
Dude, I swear, your thing is almost done :P
-
Lol, even though I clearly said "dark green"? XD
Cool. ;D
-
Last month!! Congrats at being.... 12? 8? ;) j/k. Congrats though. It is pretty awesome to have the freedom of a hunk of steel.
-
Be safe on the open road, Numbers.
Just for kicks, here is a Chinese car brand called, TRUMPchi.

Silverwing... what was your rental?
-
I realized I have never shared my cars. I own two... and I am going to replace them both soon. Here is the first car I purchased myself, and I still own my first car.
2005 Audi A4.
To everyone, don't ever buy an Audi or Volkswagen, always in the shop, it's a money pit. :( I bought this when I wanted to say I had an Audi. Don't plan to own it much longer.
-
Sorry your car is a lemon. It looks nice though.
-
It looks nice though, Grapes!
-

You wish!
:D Pfffft.
-
Volkswagen and Audi appear ta the bottom of consumer approval ratings for a reason, Grape. ;)
-
Hey guys, update. I am at a car dealer working to buy a new car. The Audi just stopped working, so I need buy something. Any recommendations? I am just looking at everything right now.
-
So I have narrowed it down to either a sedan or wagon. I don't want a German car anymore because of all their scandals, lies, and how VW/Audi makes trash (in my experience). I am open to other choices too. I do want at least decent gas mileage. Willing to spend near $30k or if i can find a really good used car, I will too.
So, I am looking at American, Japanese, and South Korean. Scandanavian is fine too.
-

Check out the Ford Fusion Energi. It is a hybrid and electric car for 22 miles, plus you get get it with nice luxury inside. Also the Chrysler 200 is a great car, despite it not getting the attention it deserves due to the mid 2000s Chrysler/Dodge stigma, also check the 300. It has good power and good mileage. I would even look at Buick and Lincoln (not old people cars). Chevy has that new Malibu, and the Cruz is a good smaller car for good mileage. Dodge Charger might be cool.
I just see you as wanting a refined car, being that you had an unrefined Audi. Make look for a used Volvo?
What about cookie cutter cars from Toyota, Nissan, and Honda? You also have rust prone Mazda's which are good and fun cars. Subaru? They have wagon/SUV mixes that get good gas mileage. Honda has the new Civic and wonderful Accord that everyone else has. There is the Altima, which is a good seller, and the Camry and Corolla which every parent hands down to their first of kin, and then she drives the Corolla into a light pole.
It's a big open world out there.
-
I would keep your options open. :) Sounds like fun.
-
Did you buy anything?
What about those Foresters? Dodge has the Journey or those smaller Jeep SUV's like the Compass?
-
Confirmed. Grape foot bought a Geo Metro.
-
Oh wow.... I've never heard of that.
I'm guessing it's a good car.
-
Oh wow.... I've never heard of that.
I'm guessing it's a good car.
Well... it's good on economy.
Grape didn't get one. It was a joke. Geo Metro's are kind of a car joke... Uhhh... yep.
-
Styling in my pink Geo Metro cabrio.

-
Nice rims.
-
Thanks. They are made of 110% plastic.
-
Oh god those XD
Those wheels and rims remind me of my grandmas car haha
-
That's not even the best Geo. They made a "SPORTS" Geo too.
-
I'm frightened to see what it looks like.
-
The wonderful, Geo Storm. As sporty as a Geo gets.

-
Too bad it wasn't based off the typical Geo hatchback. Then it would be a real dandy.
Ahhh, the Geo Storm. The dream of no teenage boy growing up in the 90s.
-
It looks so awful ahaha
-
Too geometric. *rimshot* XD
...well, it is! I think...
-
Chevy also made Geo make a sedan version of the Geo Metro for a short while before they shuttered the company.
-
The Geo Storm, if I remember correctly, was actually made by Isuzu. Yeah, bet you all forgot about them as a car company!
-
I didn't. :P
-
It is a forgettable company, though they produced some decent SUV's in the nineties and still produce heavy duty trucks for stuff. Suzuki will be forgotten like them and eventually Mitsubishi if things don't turn around for them.
-
Hahaha! You guys are ridiculous.
I was thinking of an Acura and Volvo going in, but didn't want to spend that kind of money and nothing used looked that good. Plus to my surprise, the Acura wasn't all that great inside compared to other cars I checked. I went to the big three, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, then looked at Jeeps and checked out Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, etc. I even looked at Mercedes for no real reason other then to kick tires and them to give me dirty looks. I then wallowed on over to Hyundai and Kia.
The Kia dealer has this near luxury sedan called the Cadenza. It was a dumb name for a car that no one even knows exists, but it was really nice inside. Problem... I couldn't see spending $35k for a Kia. Which is probably why the new brand Genesis is coming so it won't say Hyundai or Kia anywhere. I also looked at the Optima... but then I felt too commoner (I'm a horrible person). I wanted something not everyone has.
So then I looked at some sporty cars like the new Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger. My fav was the Challenger, it had the best interior in my opinion. But then practicality go to me... so I looked at some bigger stuff while on the lot. For the heck of it I looked at a Buick Regal GS (the sports variety). It was a really nice sedan, and a lot of luxury for the dollar, but it was over $30k and I wanted to not spend that much... unless I REALLY liked it. I liked it, but not enough, and yeah, old man stigma still.
Then I was looking at Lexus, which I quickly realized was too much money for an ugly grille and a modified Toyota.
So then I sat and cried as I ate lunch, then continued on my way. (Note this isn't really in exact order or anything, I am just writing it in a funny way, but it is all true).
Then girlfriend says she liked the Jeep Cherokee and the little one (Renegade) and I'm like, okay. Lets go check it out, and we do. The Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealer had some exceptional deals. I did like the Cherokee for an SUV, but the Renegade was too quirky small for my tastes. I still like a sporty sedan, but the Cherokee is my top SUV at the moment. More so then the similar Ford and Chevy's I looked at, which there weren't any that came close. I did try the Subaru Forester but... so bland and like everyone else. Plus inside wasn't all that great.
Back to the cars.... I looked for a wagon, but no. I liked the Charger, but I don't want it. I looked at the Malibu and overly floaty Impala. Ehhh. The Cruze was a nice small car with good MPG, I liked that, but eh. Ford Fusion was nice. I enjoyed it, but the design has been around since like, 2012, it's starting to look dated in my mind. The Escape was a nice small SUV. I liked the Edge even more. I really liked Chrysler's 200. It had the best interior of all the cars in it's class, but the back seat seemed a tad smaller then the Fusion, even though I never use it. But it is on my list, especially with the bigger engine. I forgot about the Camry, liked the Accord a lot, but it is so common. I really liked the Mazda6, but so gutless.
Did I learn anything, YES. Did I get anywhere? No. I am driving a loaner car for now.
-
Sounds like if you are a car enthusiast, you had a car orgy today.
-
Sounds like a ton of exploring there, Grape.
This is really cool.
World's biggest Volkswagen Bug! (http://videos.usatoday.net/Brightcove2/29906170001/2016/07/29906170001_5061733501001_5061717547001.mp4)

Oh my, we're stretching pages again haha

That is one big Bug. :O

Starting to wonder if an automobile topic would interest anyone?
Ford revealed their new 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible. That is a sexy looking machine.
Thoughts on an auto topic or the Mustang or any cars?
-
I'm thinking it is nice, but I want to see it in person. I worry about some of the line and creases, being too busy. Especially around the headlights and running lights, with that possibly unneeded slit that runs beneath the running lights into nothing? Is there no air vent there? If not, that is pointless and unneeded. Also need to see how the crease along the door slopes to the back. It might counterbalance the nice haunch on the rear quarter panel.
-
DO you guys have names for your cars?
-
No.
-
Not at all. The only people I know who name cars are females. (not that it is a gender thing)
-
I named mine. XD
-
The broken page was bothering me. Fixed it.
-
what broken page thing?
-
That is a pretty Mustang by the way, but still not as pretty as the original in my mind.
-
Page back. Borders were broken from a ridiculously long link.
-
ah ok
-
That is a pretty Mustang by the way, but still not as pretty as the original in my mind.
It is hard to beat the original, but in my opinion, this is still a very nice design.
-
It is a good design. I like the points you mentioned about it though, and they all make sense.
-
Smiles needs a new ride. ;D I'll take one of those convertibles.
-
I could see you in a Fiat 123 Spyder too, Smiles. ;)

Hair blowing in the wind.
-
The Fiat Spyder is a good looking sports car. I think it needs some more power, and sadly, I don't think it will sell well because it is a Fiat. They need those American sales to keep afloat, and we have seen other Fiat sales drop like a rock since their beginning.
-
INDEED. ^
You know all those Chevy Silverado ads that say they use "high grade steel" in their trucks instead of "not tough aluminum" in the Ford F-150? You know the ads where they drop stuff in the beds of both trucks.
Rumor has it Chevy's next truck will use aluminum now, even with all their negative Nancy talk about aluminum.
Ram will probably still be using steel.
-

The GENERAL has been known for being hypocritical on things.
-
So you all know how Dodge likes to make ridiculously powerful cars? Back in the day they made the world's fastest pickup truck, then of course you have the Viper's and the recent Hellcat variants of the Charger and Challenger with 707hp.
Today they announced the SRT Dodge Durango... the fastest SUV around. 475hp and best in class towing, and a bunch of other wild stuff. It runs a 12.90 quarter mile, faster then most sports cars.
-
Papa could fill a garage with those rides you mentioned.
-
I recently had to pay 400 to get my starter replaced.
-
I recently decided I want that Durango SUV in black.
-
Maybe some of you expected this, maybe not. Here is my ride. ;)
1992 Ford Ranger.
Let me add my old bikes, a quad, and an old Trans Am I have been working on and will probably just end up selling eventually.
-
Oh cool. :D Nice to know about the Trans Am. Does it run?
-
I have a pearly blue Subaru Crosstrek 2016. Bought it last year after selling my '97 Jeep Wrangler.
-
How you like the Crosstrek?
I would have loved to have had that old Wrangler of yours. Love that model year. ;D
-
I love my Crosstrek. I loved my JeepyJeep too, but I have a long commute and the mileage wasn't kind to my wallet.
-
I have a relative who had an Impreza hatch then bought the Crosstrek. Pretty much the same car but one is lifted. ;) Glad you like it.

Impreza.

Crosstrek.
And Jeep Wrangler's are just awesome. Most coveted car in polls too.
-
^ So similar, but they will charge more for one simply because it is lifted and a "Crossover." Same can be said with the VW Golf wagon and the new Golf Allroad.
-
I'm thrilled you are aware of that price gouging, Raine. :) You scored points just now.
-
So in car new... Dodge revealed their new Dodge SRT Durango will cost $64,000 USD. It is the least powerful of the SRT badged products like the Grand Cherokee and of course the Hellcat's (Charger/Challenger) and Challenger Demon.
(http://o.aolcdn.com/dims-global/dims3/GLOB/legacy_thumbnail/750x422/quality/95/https://s.blogcdn.com/slideshows/images/slides/442/965/5/S4429655/slug/l/2018-dodge-durango-srt019-2.jpg)
But it is still way too quick and very powerful.
If you’re in the market for a three-row SUV that boasts a quarter-mile time of 12.9 seconds and can sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, expect to pony up at least $64,090 for starters.
The Durango SRT packs a potent 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 under its hood. It delivers 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. So this puppy is fast.
-
Since I brought it up, the other Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep branded super SUV is the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk. Here you can see it side by side with the SRT Durango. The Jeep gets a Hemi V8 that can do 0-60 in roughly 3.4 seconds, and has 707hp.

Such hot rides. :)
-
I might have to look at those in real life in person at the dealer. ;D
-
Not sure what Numbers likes most of classic muscle cars, but I saw this and had to share it for him. Reminded me of the classic movies. He knows what I am talking about. ;D

-
Whoaaa... pretty... •.•
-
I would totally own that.
-
Yes nice car.
-
Old mACH 1 Mustang. :) Very classic, very nice.
-
Time to bring this topic back and see what changes have occurred!
-
Alrighty. Been three years since the last post. Since then a lot of you knew I had a Honda Element. But I no longer own that vehicle. After my great aunt gave me her car, a 2007 Impala, I sold it.
-
Ooh! Fun topic idea. So should I take a photo of my car?
-
^ You can tell, show an example photo, or post your real car, TBS. :) But I would recommend hiding your license plates.
I am sure there has been lots of changes. :)
-
Oh yeah! :D I did finally get a new car too.
-
So I realized we have a handful of non-American users on our forum and I don't think any of them have ever shared anything about their cars. I am curious if any of them will see this and maybe bring up a car they own, or had, or maybe something they always wanted. It would be fun to talk about car's not common to most of us here.
-
Oh yeah! :D I did finally get a new car too.
What did you get?
-
I own and drive a 2018 Chevy Equinox. It is the same color as the one in the photo... and looks pretty similar. I needed something that was bigger for safety and had all wheel drive for snow. It gets the job done despite being a very boring, very typical, crossover SUV that everyone hates! SUVs are taking over the world and ruining the market for cars! I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I am part of the problem! Lol!

Prior to this I owned a boring 2008 Chevy Malibu and prior to that for a few year a 2001 Ford Focus sedan. They were the same colors as the one's below.

I might also have an issue since every car I've owned has been red... lol.
-
Oh yeah! :D I did finally get a new car too.
What did you get?
Hahaha. I thought I did, but then actually didn't I was super certain I was going to buy it, so I posted that. But then didn't. I did get a new car THIS year though. I will post it later.

Don't be apologetic about what you buy!!! You got a great car for your needs. Be happy about that, Fox. You might have am obsession with red though, lol! j/k [excited] [excited]
-
Nice @Grapefoot. Look forward to it.
Also, that is great @FoxTail. Those a nice crossover. Just because "Car" people don't like SUVs, doesn't mean it's the best choice for you. We're just a salty bunch. ;D
-
Okay, I am done buying German cars. I love em' and hate them. They all break down all the time and the shop is super expensive. I guess it's time to buy a new car AGAIN.
First was a BMW that constantly had issues, then an Audi, and now a Volkswagen Golf! What the heck! All have issues. The Golf is a 21' model year and it's been in the shop no joke, every two months I've owned it.
