Is this an attempt of Mack to do their own Coronado?

Oooff, I forgot about the Frieghtliner Coronado.  Not a pretty truck... didn't sell well or last long. They did improve it with optional headlight housings later on though.

It's actually crazy how many trucks are out there and are so quickly forgotten to time.

It's a very old Mack truck.  Unlike the Anthem which was all new, this other Pinnacle truck is a step backwards in that they put lipstick on a pig.  I very much prefer the older more rounded Mack Pinnacle to the new one which seems very out of place to be its successor.  I could see it as a different named truck, but not a Pinnacle. It fits the Granite more.

I don't disagree that they fluidly do not match especially having  the same nameplate.  Seems like they are different classes of vehicle, but I think the newer Pinnacle can be OKAY.  It is in a similar vein to the WS 49X flat front.

Weird trucks?  How about the Steinwinter Supercargo?  Obviously it never materialized or became a real truck to use.

^Someone said that classic US cabovers are too many stairs to climb, and someone did a totally oposite thing [excited].

P.S. I hope Peterbilt 589 will be received well by the trucking community... and appear in the game, of course ;D.

I remember the Steinwinter prototype.  It honestly probably would have been okay for airports.  But I cannot see something like that hauling cargo cross country anywhere.

This low cab design isn’t compratible with any kind of traffic... Even if the car ahead will be transparent, its cargo and driver are not .

I think the Peterbilt 589 is okay.  I prefer it with the squared headlights like the Peterbilt 379 had. There are conversion kits for 589 owners to make their headlights square.  I think Kenworth did the body better than Peterbilt.

Peterbilt 589.

The older Peterbilt 379.

The Steinwinter is a neat idea.  But that's all it is for now.  I can't imagine it is all that safe though for the driver being lower than literally everyone else. ;D

The 589 is good.  I think it would be in my B tier if I made a list.

Don’t forget the older 351/359 round headlight kit, which is a common option for 379/389... and surely will be an option for 589 (BTW, if follow the pattern, the new model must be named as 399. But, this name may be strongly associated with malls, sales etc. ;D).

Just be glad we never got these Colani trucks made and designed in Germany.  They are wild.  Earliest ones as far back at as the 1970s with new concepts through the years as recently as the 2000s.

Oh no, that is dreadful.  It's making the Fiat Multipla look normal!

That truck is a mix of a water bottle and vacuum cleaner. ;D

The fresh memetic EV prototype from Russia have some original Multipla vibes.

The designers of the second generation of Multipla did their best to make the car look better. But... the proportions were still broken.

^ I saw that Russian meme EV thing on a auto magazine article.  It's weird because there is no info on it's engine and mechanical stats.  I wonder if that info was revealed in Russia... or it is truly nonexistent.

I'm surprised there was no blog post today.  Probably one on Tuesday.
