Does that mean Freightliner or Western Star trucks of that same chassis will get updates soon?  They will probably be revealed in upcoming years as to not oversaturate the market.

That new update from Western Star already came on the 57X in 2022.  That is the new truck.  So Volvo is now using the new truck and designing their truck, the new VNL which came out this year. The new Freightliner Cascadia came out in 2019, so it will likely get the new body update.

OK, now we know the name for 2025 DLC ;D.
The scenery looks very nice, and I am sure the developers will show us a lot of awesome screenshots for the next two years. And we will make a bunch of our own ones next day after the release ;D.

LET'S GO! Very excited about this.  I never liked how these countries were always limited to their southern reaches.  It seemed artificially cut.

I like how SCS calls out the annoying fans in the comments always complaining that ETS 2 isn't getting enough updates or that ATS gets all the updates.  The ETS2 updates are larger and take more time. ::)  Just be patient.

This is the DLC I've really wanted.

I know it's too early, but I hope they do Ireland or rework the UK after this DLC.

I'm just sad about how far away that DLC will be.  I want to see cold nordic mountain roads along the coast.

SCS seems to have long avoided doing roads along the coast.  My guess is their water uses a lot of resources or they are not confident in it.  Hopefully but then, they will not be afraid to show open seas.

^ Even in the latest West Balkans DLC, very little of it is along the coast.  I think they don't know how to do the horizon or something?  I am not sure.

^ That's true.  A DLC that should have tons of water doesn't have a ton.  But they cannot escape it with Greece.  With Greece we will have sweeping mountain views looking to the sea.

Maybe... the upcoming engine update will work with the big water bodies better?

Hopefully.  They've been improving on their draw distance.  But in the Balkins DLC was the first time I noticed they forced blurred distance...which I didn't like, but it is a way to save resources in big areas.

There is another «meet the team» post today. I see it becomes a tradition for every new map expansion, just as posts about truck stops, water bodies, landmarks etc.
Aaand... you can try to find a face from the game ;D.

Like the Greece one, the Missouri one was a good post.  I enjoy these.

That requires having an iron and flat surface at work. At work.

And just like the brand new Volvo VNL in North America, Volvo Europe has just dropped the new 2024 Volvo FH Aero.  Here it is.
