But I bought the PS4 thinking I wouldn't need a new system for like ten years?  I don't want to buy a new system.  Actually, I am putting my foot down and wouldn't buy a new one.

PS4.5.  It might be a special system that costs more.  So you would have two choices.  The base PS4 then a fancy crazy high def one for 4k.  Kinda sucks for the people who bought the original.  Though games would come for both, with the option for the 4k if you want.

I don't really give a crap about 4k. As long as I can play the games that are put out, I'm content. Hell I'm surprised they didn't just create an add on device for the original ps4

Don't care about 4k or curved tv's.  Until that stuff is cheap and everyday use, I don't care.  I will stick with what I have.

I still have a VHS players and cassette player!

Dayum, now THAT's some old shit. But I agree. I barely got my Ps4 last year, so why bother. Besides, if it's just for like... better quality for certain tvs or something, I really do not care. Kinda why I'm not the biggest PC gamer.

As much as 120 frames+ seems badass, I personally do not mind 30-60fps
