IDK, I kinda like the setting of a family saving the world and everyone else from a robot apocalypse.

Also fun fact: Connected was originally going to be called The Mitchells Vs The Machines before getting retitled.

I do like the cartoony style they are doing with this film.  It reminds me of the style Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs uses or the cartoony movements in the Hotel Translyvania movies.

Yeah, it's a pretty common critique among animation enthusiasts.  We always complain about how similar all play-dough 3D model characters are.  They all look very similar with just a few changes here and there.  Pixar doesn't have the design edge they once had, but they still have the detail and effects edge.

BTW the more I think about it. Connected kinda almost feels like a twisted Brave Little Toaster but with the humans being the lead.

If any of you remember The Brave Little Toaster. Do you get what I mean about Connected being almost like a twisted Brave Little Toaster?

I used to watch Brave Little Toaster growing up.  That is a weird movie I can't believe was brought up again.  It's been... gosh, decades since I've thought about it?  Wow.

That connected movie looks really good imao, and the whole robot uprising thing, I already knew about that, so it didn't catch me off guard, like most people were, I know the director and writer, both worked on gravity falls, so that's a good sign!

So just for one quick question,

Do you guys think the daughter from Connected who is named Katie might end up becoming the next trending fan art character online by the end of 2020 once the movie itself comes out?
(not to mention that we might get fetish fan art on Katie later on as well)
