Good photos. Yet another trailer DLC.  It's nice that so many companies are wanting to get involved.

Some field experiment results:
(or, the yard experiment, if look at the cargoes)

Two dryvans — 13.7 m Krone Dry Liner at the left, and fresh 15 m Schmitz S.BO Express on the right. As you can see, even this small addition to the length increases the income a bit, so, now I have a new favorite single dryvan for ETS ;D.
Waiting for US authorities (and SCS after them ;D) will finally allow a new format for STAA Double — 2×33' after 2×28,5'. As I heard, there were speculation about this last several years — the trucker associations want to fight for every bit of extra cargo capacity.

P.S. It’s still a little funny for me — several days ago, we had a reminder about one of announced trailer manufacturer for ETS, but today we have a release of completely unexpected trailers. This make me wonder, do SCS already have some secret ATS stuff, which is also ready to be shown? It’s actually more than a half of a year since the new generation of Kenworth T680 was released, so can we expect the rest of cabs, chassis and tuning options for this model will be added anytime soon?

SCS is certainly working on secrets because this surprise came out of no where.  Also thank you for the helpful experiment results.

This is a trailer DLC I might actually buy. I like trailers like this. Plus extra income is always good.

If you browse the heaviest cargoes in the 13,7 vs 15 m trailer comparison, this time the difference may be smaller.

Two of five cargoes from this panel have the exactly same weight in both cases, two have more or less significant change, and Chocolate requires to switch to smaller units to see the difference, because you see 24 t for each trailer ;D.
Also, I see a little bug with the top rear turn signals — for the right turn, it lights up only the rightmost lamp, and for the left turn, the extra left lamp and one of the right ones are activated as well.

Now SCS is collecting the bugs on their forum, so I believe the next small update will correct them.
Also, one more advantage of new Schmitz over the Krone Dry Liner — it has an option with separate fenders for all wheels. Not paintable, of course (as I know, they broke all the time, so the real mass market just doesn’t bother with more fancy and expensive fenders), but I still prefer when each wheel is covered — it must be the bicycle lover speaking from inside ;D.

How you figured all that out so fast amazes me.

^Well, it was interesting for me to compare, how much more profitable is a little longer trailer.
Also, these trailers may have a very long name ;D.

I truly believe that it took a lot of time to manually replace all those trees, because they have a lot of different shapes. It’s not Warcraft 3 map editor, where you can replace one tree type by other using one command (and after that, you still can see the message like «781 object (s) can’t be replaced on their current locations» ;D).

I know we pointed it out on here and the SCS Forums and blog members pointed it out too.  Texas had a ton of Pacific Northwest Douglas Fir trees and Evergreens throughout Texas which DID NOT belong there.  It's minor and most people might not notice, but I am so glad they went back to fix this.  Everything feels right again, lol.  The comparison shots are night and day improvements.

Also clever title for the post, @timmelon, lol!  ^b-

Uhh.... so yeah.  New truck reveal coming soon! Also that Kenworth 100 year anniversary truck we got late last year?  All the variants are coming really soon.

Even just based off what was teased in the 2023 Christmas stream, there is a lot to be released in the next 6 months for ATS.  They did a lot of releasing of known content in ETS2 the first half of this year.

Not so much sense in this kind of checkpoints for me.

Wanna make some evil laugh while passing it on the right lane ;D.
If take a very close look, those fuselages have a word «BOOONG» written at the place where the vertical stabilizer will be attached.

It could be a great IVEDO-DAV-like name, but thankfully, the developers have invented DARWING.

Those are just Boeing fuselages.  I think they are cool but I wonder if we could ever deliver them in the game?  If so, I have never seen that.

Also that second picture is the perfect example of how much they've improved on states.  Look at that barren background with those trees.  That would be completely different now days.

They are too big — even the much much smaller helicopter is available only as a Special Transport cargo ;D.
By the way, a Bell-like helicopter is a common cargo for ETS, but I don’t understand the reason why we can’t haul it in it’s native country? ::|

Because that would make too much sense. ;D
