Today they have shown a new «please look at the real counterpart of some recently-introduced stuff»-like video ;D.
We got some big news coming next week everyone.  Get ready. :)
The end of this year is going to be filled with DLCs.

We got some big news coming next week everyone.  Get ready. :)

For ATS

Time for some silly predictions.  The next version of the game will be completed sometime this week and we will get a blog post about it.  They will announce the Arkansas DLC this week with a release date.  They will announce the Mack Pinnacle truck this week.  The new map DLC will be released between September 10-19.  Most likely days are the 12th or the 19th.  Because I predicted so early, it will probably come out Sep 26th, lol. Small possibility of cargo DLC or trailer DLC or an updates to heavy cargo DLC.

For ETS

Around the same time ATS is having a bunch of released, I am certain they will reveal a new trailer DLC release date for ETS2.  I think there will be a surprise truck sometime this month or next month.

Today we had a stream with Arkansas map reveal:
Pretty small number of cities, if compare with Texas or Spain ;D.

This time they were driving Anthem, but I believe that the next video from Arkansas may contain Pinnacle.

Well, it is not a big state, lol.  There isn't many people there to begin with. ;D

The road in Little Rock looks oddly technical.

Whichever hosting website Tim has been using, when I click the image to enlarge them, they automatically download onto my computer and it's really annoying.

^Interesting. In my browser, I just see a direct link to the picture, not a downloading link.

It’s 16th, now officially ;D. Strangely, not a Thursday this time.
Anyway, the nature in this trailer looks beautiful — back in 2021, Spain was a California for ETS, and now Arkansas is shown as Western Balkans for ATS... just without the big mountains.
In 2022, we had a first (of two) state release in August, this year we have a second (of two, right? ;D) state release in September. So, I guess the end of this year will be more concentrated on trucks.

It's releasing even EARLIER then expected and a new truck.  All the predictions came true, except for the exact date. ;D Very happy.

And it all came true.  Even earlier then my date predictions but right in line with it! Very exciting! It's amazing how SCS can really capture the feel of the places we explore and drive! Great trailer.  They've been making great trailers for awhile now (both the towable and watchable kind) ;D

And with this new map pack coming, expect a new World of Trucks events!!!  [excited]  I'm predicting one of those loon birds they showed in the trailer to be a plush or something to hang on your window. ;D

This trailer looked great and the fact that we have ALL UNIQUE depots is going to be awesome.  I hope someday they can go back and do this to old parts of the map.  But that is a huge task to accomplish.

«Old parts» of ATS map are made much better than Poland or UK in ETS ;D. Unique depots, or more-or-less similar, but I prefer looking at the scenery.

Apparently, SCS wants to cover all trailer manufacturers in Europe as a compensation for small number of licensed trailers in America.
I see Kögel container carriers have a little more interesting design than the standard ones, but the dryvans look very typical... at least their frame matches the color of the box (not so much sense until we will be able to paint the frame of our truck ) and there are a plus-sized version which (for now) exists only in another DLC, Schmitz.
Since the several month-old teaser I was interested in the design of the container carrier where you can step to the container door like a boss ;D.

Turns out this rear ladder is avialable only for the 1×20' trailer, which are laughably small for me ::|. So, at this moment Schmitz is more interesting trailer DLC for me. After Krone Box Liner, we have a second container trailer capable of taking 45' containers, but the problem is that we still don’t have more than 40' in ETS ;D. That is strange — ATS had the longer containers since the first trailers for them were presented.

This has me more excited than I expected.  It's something "foreign" to me compared to the usual living I do in the other parts of the US.  It's very different.
