All I want are new trucks and more places to drive.  Anything else is just an added bonus!

Without all those licensing issues this game could be pretty different. A good bunch of trucks could be made within a time used for developing and testing the dx11/lighting/sound/physics/paintjobs.  8)

What is nice is that if SCS can get a license from PACCAR, they have access to so many truck brands.

Same with if they did it from Daimler North America Trucks, they would have access to so many brands.

Though it seems they are stuck getting single licenses per truck.  Too bad they couldn't get an overarching license from the corporate level.

The good thing is that SCS is making a progress in recent years and I can add «for now» to every «stuck» and «couldn't get».  ^-^

SCS is changing things up. Expect delays on our favorite trucking simulator game.

After 3.5 years since the presentation of Steering Creation Pack, SCS introduces another real-life accesories manufacturer. Today it is HS-Schoch

Maybe it's not an essential update, but I really glad to hear that SCS don't lose the touch with audience.

Nice.  We can always use some new parts.  I have every parts addition DLC to ETS2 except the Krone trailers... which someday I will do when on sale.

In the new Idaho DLC blogpost, they show this image.

I really hope we can drive up like they show in this photo and get our loads!  That would be very neat.

Oh, if potato loading will include opening of the tarp, it would be great.
And I am interested to see, how much time will loading sequence last, and will it be realised as a cutscene (like a ferry on Danube River).

Oh yes!  Lets make this take a little turn towards Farming Simulator, lol!    It looks like you can drive in the dirt.  I hope so.  I wonder how much space they will let you drive around and CRUSH crops? ;)  SCS has been allowing more and more freedom, especially starting in Oregon and Washington.  Did you see how massive some of the parking lots they let us drive through that weren't marked on the map to do so?  It was pretty fun and nice to park your truck in the back of a Walbert, save, and turn off the game for another time.

* I still want to ride that ferry! Haven't gotten there or found it yet!  Haven't had a delivery that way either.

I wish there was a "cutscene" mode that if we wanted to have a small cutscene of our trucks getting loaded up after we park them, we could.  The potatoes would be a nice example of that.  Or imagine seeing your truck be loaded with logs or workers adding the final product to the back of a trailer before you drive off.  It would be a nice little immersive bit.  It would be fun to be able to click a button to cover or remove the tarp when you truck is loaded with potatoes or coal or something.

That would be neat.  But at the same time I could see people wouldn't want to keep that on because they would feel it we NOT immerse them since the camera would move to a 3rd person view.
