Oh, yes.  Boris Karloff, the voice of The Grinch, couldn't sing a lick, so the famous "You're A Mean One" tune was performed by an uncredited Thurl Ravenscroft, perhaps best known as Tony The Tiger.

Many people, however, don't realize The Grinch actually starred in two other cartoons: "Halloween Is Grinch Night" and "The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat". I discussed them both here, in fact, at my BelchBlog.

I remember watching the original Grinch cartoon, then on tv, they always seemed to be diff than I remember.  I learned some channels have a condensed version of the movie to fit a half hour time slot.

I am late but Happy Christmas season to everyone =) I like that the festive mood isn't just on one day alone. Pretty much all of December people think about what they could give to others or what they wish to have as a gift. It is a fun time of the year =)

Here in the South we have our own version: "The Redneck 12 Days of Christmas".

If you keep your Halloween jack-o'-lanterns on the porch so long they turn green and red from mold, and then use 'em as your Christmas decorations, you might be a redneck.

There might be a few members on this forum old enough to remember The California Raisins. They appeared in a number of commercials and their own short-lived Saturday morning cartoon series.


They even got their own toy line.


Talks of a reboot have been making the rounds for a while now, but the project's been stalled for over eight years, probably because a bunch of Gen-Z'ers thought these guys were a group of singing, dancing turds.
