I don't think they fully understood autism when
Porifera Roberto first made his debut in 1999. A lot more kids seem to be diagnosed with the condition these days, for better or worse, and "on the spectrum" seems to be the hip new buzzword (they also use it for human sexuality, which only seems to confuse things more) the last few years. Tom Kenny is hardly an expert, I believe, on psychology... It's actually a little uncomfortable when people claim they can "tell" if someone is autistic just by looking at their face for signs--seems I've heard such a thing before, in these old films I saw... although I admit it was a little hard to follow along because
all the narration was in German....
