If I was going to go to war with a nation.... Yakyakistan would be the one for now.  Too bad the writers made that nation oddly close to Equestria... they should have been very far away.

Is there a new official map that shows the location of all these places?

What army forces of Equestria have we seen ever be useful?  The only useful people are the Mane 6, which is stupid.... they can do what an army does...

Well as far as we've seen, all the yaks have is brute strength. As far as we've seen. I'm making this opinion based on that. The yaks have strength. The ponies have a wide variety of powerful magic that could easily counter them.

Yaks brute strength might overpower the cunningness of pones.  I could see Yaks causing considerable damage to towns, cities, and the Equestrian economy.  Even if the pones won the war, they might not recover the loses.

So the Crystal Empire is a thin strip of land... and Yakyakistan is stupidly close to Equestria in a dumb location.  They should totally be somewhere else. 

I find it odd they added, "undiscovered west" and made a portion of it head off the known map.  They must have plans.    The unknown west is very close to big cities too, which is funny.
