You kidding me? If the Yaks went to war they wouldn't lose badly. Have you seen the size of them?? They're fucking huge!

Also, the Yaks were pretty civilized when Pinkie tried a different method. They had high standards for their likes. And the ponies couldn't make something as good as their home, hence their anger. That's the whole point of the lesson. The Yaks were annoying yes, but it's kinda like understandable. If the ponies were trying to make them feel like they were back in Yak-yakistan they were failing pretty bad. But once they stopped, they stopped being jerks. It could also just be their way of resolving conflict, which kinda makes sense. They're freaking Yaks.

Initially Equestria was the nation, but looks like its become more the world.
Granted when your leader moves the sun, the world does revolve around your country.

Same.  I will have to agree with you.  Originally it seemed the creators just made Equestria, the whole world.  It has quickly dwindled down to just their country, especially in season 5.

Raising the sun and moon thing, that all just myth and lore.  Luna and Celestia do nothing and trick all the pones into praising and believing them.   Have you ever actually seen them lift or raise anything?  Exactly, you haven't.

This might blow the minds of people.  Equestria is a kingdom, yes, but it is also possibly the name of a REGION of the world.  Because within Equestria, there are other kingdoms.  They sort of look up to then sad rule in Canterlot... like olden times.
