Awesome!  Glad Dunkirk is getting rave reviews.  Hopefully people will go see it in droves.

Much better then the last several "blockbuster" films, and this is is true!

Hollywood collapsing!  It's great!  Lol!  Their movies keep flopping because people are fed up with their crap!

The latest box office bomb is BLADE RUNNER!  Warner is pulling the movie this week already because it has only made $66million!  HA!

Well, there's always Sean Hannity's new movie. I hear it's very uplifting.

Progress has all but killed journalism in America, and I guess now it's taking down Hollywood.  I'm wondering how many stars will suffer because they appeared in films produced by Harvey Weinstein's corporation, which may mean a lot of Oscar snubs this year.  Even his own brother sees him as a d-bag.  The guy had a blanket pardon built into his contract to cover his sexual shenanigans.  Nice work if you can get it. How do I get in on that deal, huh?   ;)

Oh yes, Sean Hannity.

He is producing a new film called, "Let There Be Light."  He promises it is something different then what Hollywood produces week in and week out.  It has some big names in it like Kevin Sorbo.

Wish them luck with this smaller independent film.

Safe to say Solo: A Star Wars Movie was a box officer failure for Disney.  Only pulled in $321 million which was still more then it's $275 million budget.  But Disney hoped for near a billion dollars.  So I am marking this as a failure.

An update for this film that came out last year.  It was a success for the studio.  They had ab budget of $3 million and they made $7.2 million.  Congrats for the small studio!

After posting'em in Non Sequitur, Wolfwood suggested I post these here. Why not. :)

Allow me to show you a couple of old movie posters for Japanese releases of American movies.

This is the poster for the 1974 movie "Gone in 60 Seconds". Very realistic drawings of the cars featured in the movie (including the yellow Mustang, Eleanor, doing her 30 ft leap). They almost look real. Accurate depictions of scenes from the movie.

This one is for the 1977 movie "Speedtrap". Going by the title written below in Japanese, it seems they wanted to pass it as a sort of sequel to "Gone". But you can't blame them. The plots of both movies are somewhat similar. Once more, the artwork on this poster is amazing, even though some of it is recycled from the poster for "Gone". Yet again, we get accurate depictions of scenes from the movie, including a flying red Jensen Interceptor in the foreground.

Yes. Yes, I am indeed impassioned. And loving it. ;D

I love how they drew like that in the 70s and early 80s.  It's very cool and an awesome way to make posters of anything!  I love how those classic cars look.  Look at that awesome Continental on the second poster!  Very interesting how they re-used some of the car drawings, and then added in others.  Remember this was time before it was as easy as Photoshop.

Those are great. I saved those images.  I like to think CAR loving Japanese went and loved these films.
