I'm running Safari on an Apple that isn't the most recent.  I am on OS X 10.9.3.  Everything is running nicely for me, but every once in awhile, and icon/image on the site won't appear.   It is very rarely and it seems to happen at random.  Not sure why that is, but it doesn't bug me.

It would be cool to implement likes so that they effect a members karma.... actually, you know what, I don't think I care about that. 

I guess it would just be cool for members to gain experience and maybe goofy little meaningless badges the longer they are here, post, and maybe get up votes on posts.

Yeah I wanted to ask about that too. I was looking on here last night from my phone and when I first saw Soda's secret santa gift to me, like half the page was cut off, text, image, and all.

There is a karma subsystem that can be enabled.  I don't know anything about it, but presumably it may work sort of like that?  It could be investigated if this is a popular request.

Nope.  v2.0 (which we're on) went stable in ~08, before there was a huge smart phone market.  It may be that v2.1 improves in this area, but it's still only in beta (and moving fairly slowly).

I will look into the Karma thing.  We kept away from that in 1.0, but if it is something people really want, we can do a test run.  I got that Yasl. ;)  You take a break, hun.

Instead of just posting a Youtube or Vimeo link, is there a way for the video link to appear as a video box to play the video?

I've just installed a mod that purports to let you do this with [youtube] [/youtube] and [vimeo] [/vimeo] BBCode tags.  Feel free to test on this thread.

Oh, and in other news, I discovered how to tweak the php.ini config, so now it should be possible to upload attachments of up to 10MB (though, I've not yet tested it).

Err, "unlimited", but I'd take that with a grain of salt.

In practice, I should think it's at least a few dozen gigabytes or so.
