PETA Won Its Battle With Animal Crackers. Now Those Circus Creatures Can Be Free...On The Boxes.  <-Article.

So in short, PETA freaked out that Nabisco's Animal Crackers boxes always showed the animals in a circus setting behind a cage.  PETA said the animals in captivity was wrong and basically through a liberal tantrum.  Nabisco caved in and redesigned their animal cracker boxes to show the animals not being in cages.

Simpsons writers cave due to some comedian finding social justice warriors to think Apu from the Simpsons is racist.... They are removing Apu from the show.  Stupid.  He's one of my fav side characters.
