I remember that video.  I saw that a long time ago.   It was a good video!  Love those people.  They work hard and never get any credit. 

I will say I think it is horrible to play THIS prank on people though.  It isn't considerate and pretty bad.  You don't joke about suicide.

Well I don't think it was a prank. It was a social experiment. Lying about committing suicide for attention though, that is horrible and disgusting, and anyone who does it is terrible.

It's tough as to if this video crosses the line or not.

No matter what though, it is an amazing video seeing these two men go out of their way in a normal day for such an unexpected situation.    Makes you wonder how you would do if something so routine became a life and death moment like this for someone else.

I felt kinda bad for the cabbies.

This also reminded me of two things.  The first is an image macro that I can't remember the exact phrasing for; it's something like, "Sometimes the ones most willing to help are the ones most in need of it."  A friend of mine always had this knack for making every person feel like they were the most important person to him.  Just a really thoughtful and caring guy.  Pretty brilliant too.  And we were all utterly stunned when he killed himself.  He always gave so much of himself, and none of us had any idea there was anything wrong.

On a lighter note, the second thing I'm reminded of is another group called Improv Everywhere who uses volunteers to play harmless and generally fun pranks on people, usually the general public.  This was one of their more memorable ones:
