Howlite's Doctor Visit (F)

Another entry for mysterysneeze's contest! This time, I went with the sci-fi theme. I know last year he mentioned he'd like to see my character Howlite sneeze, so I made a comic about her! It also features her girlfriend, Sunstone, and their doctor Apatite. I thought it would be cool to have a gem doctor for the sci-fi theme. It also mentions Pietersite, Howlite’s boss, who is the Homeworld ambassador to Earth in my AU. The Homeworld I’ve made up with my RP partner (Kalla) is very different from the Homeworld in the show. 

My original plan was to color the whole comic... but making the comic itself took a lot of time, and coloring just the first page took so much effort. So I decided to just leave it as it is. The first page is colored so that you can get a sense of the characters' color schemes, but the other pages are uncolored just like my normal sketch comics.

(Also, Apatite's summonable gem "weapon" is a stethoscope, which is why it suddenly appears and then disappears once she's done with it.)

I've never seen Pietersite before. It is neat seeing the links of the different characters before the link to the comic. Nice introduction!

I think you did very nice! I like how you did the characters. The background is only viewed for a short time but it does work.

Hehe, I remember when you designed Pietersite.

This is such a cute and simple story!! The expressions are wonderful, and I love the amount of science and technicality you brought into the scenario. It makes the whole thing really interesting to read. Plus Howlite is such a cutie. Nice work!
