It annoys the heck out of me when it's World Cup time and everybody goes crazy... like, you can't enjoy a nice relaxed summer evening sitting outside in a street cafe or restaurant terrace because there are huge TV screens set up everywhere with people (mostly male) all over the place roaring and yelling...
But I'm clearly a minority there because most people think it's normal. Only a few people I know feel annoyed by all that too. Oh well... I'm glad it's only once in 4 years.
LOL, I've spent the day watching videos like that, and there's one more I'd like to share with you, if you're interested in learning some differences between Germans and Americans in a fun way. There's this youtube channel "Easy German" by a bunch of people teaching German, and they did a collaboration with Nick Alfieri, the guy who made the above clips: "10 things that happen only in Germany". It's 14 minutes, in German with English subtitles.
