^Honestly, I'm not a fan of cheap cargos like logs or wooden chips, but the logging industry (since the Washington DLC came out) provides another types of cargo which I like — various forest machines, especially with their own wheels — at least, they don't need huge «oversized cargo» lowboys and have an interesting look.
Speaking about off-road trails, there is another idea — after dirt roads, how about grass ones? ;D

And I can say I hope they will remade a 53' fuel tank trailer — since after 1.32 it became forbidden in California*, the deliveries to Gallon Oil depots in this state are less profitable than earlier (and other states have much less fuel bases) because players now can choose only the short two-axle tank trailer. Thankfully, the 53' propane tank trailer is still in business — and I very like its smooth sausage-looking shape 8).

*three-axle chassis with third liftable axle is legal, but this trailer can lift only first axle.

The old Genoa bridge is quite dated, but cool looking.  See and read about it here.  Wikipedia page.
The most awesome part in replacement bridge is that its hollow body will be maintained with a help of robots :o, as this article says.

I'm just waiting on that challenge to start.  I WISH they would have done it over the weekend and not during the weekdays.

Maybe unintentionally, but it's probably made like that for better immersion: after all, weekends are for rest, but driving a truck is a work ;D.

That is awesome.  Watching it now.

Wait till they add the LEWISTON GRADE (look it up if you don't know what it is).  There is a new section... and then there is the glorious driver's dream old section.  That would be wild in a semi truck!  They will probably also add Walla Walla, Washington and the connector Highway to Lewiston in the Idaho DLC.

The event starts in roughly a week according to SCS.  It will be an ETS2 specific event.

Which led me to an interesting idea....

What if in the future they had events where supplies could be 'sent' from one game to the next.  So lets take this Italy project for example.  Lets say we need lots of concrete.  ETS2 players can deliver as expected to the location.  But what if ATS players delivered concrete to airports or shipyards to send it TO Italy?  I know it's a silly idea, but cross-game play, or the illusion of it, might be kind of fun.  It would tie the communities together in the same SCS world universe.

Well, not the cargoes like sand or gravel (even after years of playing, delivering them for 3500 km still gives me a big LOL), but hauling of some unique goods would be fun — like it was made for a famous Italian-American car, even if it could likely be a economical disaster . We already have one delivery point in the aircraft cargo hold in Albuquerque, so it would be nice to add more.

I've still never gotten a delivery to that air cargo place in Albuquerque.  I want too!

^Oh, it's a very rare opportunity: the ABQ Cargo Center is not a popular delivery point, and *TS wiki page says that the number of cargo types which you can deliver there is extremely low, and only having the Ventilation Shaft on your flatbed is a guarantee that you'll be unloading in the plane and not at the nearby depot. So if someone is waiting for order there just to make a screenshot, it can take a lot of time ;D. And I can say that is a good training point for backing a trailer: the lower ramp is narrow and the truck barely fits there.

Also, I pay respect to this poor guy. Even in the night he takes his duty of guarding the airplane from unwanted visitors like me .
