I actually owned ETS1 in 2016, but I don't remember what the trucks were like.  I didn't really play the game much because I played 18WOS. lol.  I need to turn on ETS1 and see what I remember.  I only got into ETS2 in 2016 and all the trucks were real at that time.

The last truck in ETS2 got its real name in 2015, when Mercedes Actros ceased to be a Majestic Across.
Before that, the mods changing logos into real ones were very popular ;D.

Time for some interesting things I found/saw.

In Denver I got stuck because an AI car decided to do THIS.  It got stuck.  Eventually the gate actually opened and the car went out and the train went through.  Yes, the light rail train actually stopped.

The next thing I found was pretty interesting how SCS actually modeled these airplanes.  They are all historic old planes.  These are located at an airport in Great Falls, Montana.  But do you notice the weird error with one of the planes?

Did you notice the strange thing?

Why is there an Idaho Air Guard plane in Montana? There is actually two on display!  lol.

Hmm, maybe they spotted the short word on Google Maps image and thought it was IDAHO ;D?

Maybe there was a plane somewhere in Idaho that was the same type they already made, and they just used it in Montana too hoping no one would notice?

Oh, Montana doesn't even write their full state name. ;D It isn't even that long of a word! The Montana Air Guard has a cool logo though.

Each US State has their own National Guard, because technically each US State is it's own mini "country/nation" if you will. Depending on the state they will have an Air Force, Ground Force, and Navy.  I assume SCS had used the Idaho plane somewhere in Idaho.

If anyone can find that Idaho plane in Idaho, you win bragging rights!  TS drivers do notice everything!

Looking on that logo makes me imagine a big cow ghost, mooing above the mountains ;D.

Only logical answer.  Montana stole the planes and they are displaying them as trophies.

I enjoyed the photos MasterX! :D  I've never had that happen to me when a car gets stuck.

@timmelon long ago made a call to action, a call to arms.  He wanted photos of Montana!  So I am posting  some random photos gosh darn it.  I don't really have any fancy shots this time, all pretty random.

I found this at a truck stop in Montana.  I looked at Google Maps to see if this was really at this location, and I didn't see it, granted the street view was never quite perfect.  It is a chapel for truckers, lol!  Neat idea.

So the majority of these photos are me driving my new 59X for the first time.  Here we go!

Early morning, time to get started!

The draw distance is much improved in Montana.

Handsome looking new truck.  I love that color blue and it looks really slick with the matching trailer.  Nice photos!

I always enjoy when you make a "photo journal" of something you've done.

Also that last photo with the dark skies looks super cool.

Yay, the photos with triple trailers in use! Also, that chapel is a great example of recycling — even the cooling unit is remade into AC system ;D.
Google has some photos of stationary and mobile versions of these chapels, even some inside photos.

In addition to new car transporter (the current ones may be among the oldest ATS trailers), I think, we need more trucks as a cargo — today we have only two models, and only one of them with different colors.
So, we need more material for playing some scenarios like «you took the shortest straw, so put these beacons on and pull us!».

For current set of trailers, ETS allows you to carry more cars at once (6 vs 4), and ATS — to carry more trucks (3 vs 2) ;D.

Loving the photos guys! :D  Great stuff! :D  I love seeing triple trailers and trailers/trucks that have matching colors. :D

I didn't know about trucker chapels.  I guess they need to go to church too. ;D Clever how they used the refer unit as an AC unit. ;D
