I am just worried Hasbro will think they'd done the show justice with so many episodes, and see toy sales are good enough that the show isn't needed. I mean, lets be realistic. There are enough episodes here, plus a movie coming, they can do re-runs for years and probable sell just as many toys.
How will they advertise their latest overpriced recolors if the show goes full re-runs? And it's not just toys; there's distribution of the shows, franchised merch, the comics, books, etc, etc. MLP is their main cash cow, I don't think they'll cancel it as long as it's doing so much to hold up the company. They're not even trying to keep it strictly to the pre-teen audience anymore, as this episode helps demonstrate, and they're notoriously reticent to change a working formula. As long as it's doing its job, I figure if anything they'll want to keep expanding it. Barring some major shake-up in management, anyway.
I like a more stern Flutters too.
S-same.
