I hope they don't screw it up.  It doesn't sound like the show's original creator is coming back for this.

Gumball was in my opinion one of the better shows to come from CN out of the last decade.  It ran a fine line though.  I didn't want it to become TOO self-aware and sometimes it got too close, but never surpassed.  The show became so different from how it first started.

Has anyone seen the new show Unikitty?
Just discovered it--better late than never, I suppose.  Is Grey DeLisle-Griffin deliberately trying to evoke a Tara Strong feel with U.K.'s voice? Was Strong offered the part first but turned it down, ya think? So the   core concept is... they're living Legos?  Weird.  Well, no stranger than a show geared to market Technicolor plastic ponies with real (nylon) hair, I suppose....

Edit: Never mind, that is Tara.  Griffin voices Puppycorn.  My mistake. But they could have easily swapped roles, and who would know...?    [think]

Tara Strong was the voice of Unikitty in the US version.  Not sure why they would reduce this in "UK English."  That's kind of weird.

It wasn't a very enjoyable cartoon either.  Didn't last long for that very reason.

:o  Craig is coming back to make a Powerpuff Girls Reboot.  Also a Foster's Home Reboot... but that one isn't as promising for reasons in video.

Shame about Foster's bing a child's show now... but it makes sense.  I can see a successful brand around that including tons of merchandise of imaginary friends.

Less excited for PPG.  I was never a big fan of them to begin with.

CN has become too woke.  I'm losing interest in them.

So is Nickelodeon for that matter... but I already lost interest in them years ago.

With the cancellation of tons of Cartoon Network shows including Craig of the Creek, and many others, it has been concerning.  But now we know what Cartoon Network's goal is.  Not a kids channel... but going back to an "ANIMATION CHANNEL."  The average age watching the channel is around 29, so it's considerably older than say Nickelodeon or Disney.

Cartoon Network is streaming non-stop all their classic shows this month and playing Christmas specials.  Very nice to see and get some nostalgia!  All HD quality too!

Technically, it's Adult Swim news, but here goes:

Justin Roilland, twisted genius behind Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites, and Hot Streets, ousted after domestic violence charges surface; tells Adult Swim and Hulu they can "lick, lick, lick my [bleep]s"

Gawd-dangit, it's Jim Cummings all over again.  The Hashtag-MeToo movement is getting way too powerful. They've been too big for their britches since they took out Weinstein and Epstein, and they've begin branching out from sexual misconduct in the workplace to creators' home lives. I really don't think domestic abuse should fall under the pervy purview of a bunch of shrieking harridans led by a failed Presidential candidate and a mediocre cable network TV actress whose been outed as a fool and a hypocrite.
