No, if you take care of it, it will easily last you ten years.  My first one from 2001. :)  Still going like it was new.  My newer ones all work too. ;)

I think something happened in the Noses thread. I tried posting a photo onto it but I don't know what went wrong. Now I can't see the bottom of the page whenever i go into that thread

No it works. But maybe don't add a file when you already had the link? I mean, cam on.

Perhaps keep from sharing files then until Yasl comes back on then, please. Just in case that's the issue and it might mess up other people's threads. I'll see if I can edit the file share. Not sure though.

It also uses up site space to use the attachments system. It would probably be beneficial to host it through a third party. 

The topic doesn't work for me either.  It stops loading.

Your post did break the forum.  I am working on fixing it.  The file is 4000x5000.

Try using third party hosting site's to save us some bandwidth.  The file size is ridiculous and it for some reason locked up the site and is causing errors.  I can't even enter the topic to remove it.

You can also just hotlink the image with Deviant Art and the site automatically resizes it. :)

It was better the old way.  On one of my forums, when we upgraded, people complained, so we were able to get a code to revert that back to the old way.  This was using a Proboards style forum though, not SMF. 


SMF isn't as modifiable as Proboards sadly... so it probably wouldn't exist.

You sure seem to be having a lot of issues with it.  I have been using it, and it has been working fine for me.  I don't know what to say, Numbers. :-\

It doesn't show the code anymore, but that is about the only change I've noticed.
