Yes, I think the design for the Changelings is hideous now.  There old design was really cool.

Chrysalis escaping with no issue was kind of lame.  No one even tried to stop her.  I guess you can get away with horrible crimes in Equestria with such lax justice.  They have more problems like this...

It will be interesting to see how this new kingdom fairs under Thorax's leadership.  You mentioned before, Raine, that Thorax has shown no leadership skills in the past, or at least much, and doesn't have the demeanor of a strong leader, so this will be interesting.

Thorax showed leadership through the maze that was their castle.  He also was the first to warn everyone about the magic barrier and trying to come up with a plan.  I think there is at least leadership qualities under his shell.... or his now gooey looking body.

So I just looked up "reformed changeling" and got this weird looking thing I thought was fanart OCs. So I specified "season finale" and I got the same thing....

What the HELL where the designers thinking? They're literally ruined the visual appeal of the changelings.

I think you need to watch the episode though.  Hard to make in depth analysis without knowing everything that happened.  It was a great episode.

Another thing mentioned, now that we are spoiling everything was how the Changelings were so willing to accept talk from an enemy (Starlight), and drop their life beliefs so quickly.  This was also a great point brought up by, Raine.

I'm not making an in depth analysis. I don't need to watch the episode to know a design looks absolutely disgusting.

When I review this episode you'll know. It'll probably be paragraphs long. And I'm not a fan of the changelings being used as plot devices or in the plot in general. So we'll see how this fares under my bitchy scrutinizing eye. Haha
