Title: Question
Post by: Blurr on 2016-02-03 21:54:34
Are we allowed to post 18+ material on this board?

Ooh yeah. That's a good question.
Didn't Yasl say something like, the rules of the website host was no sexual material? So like, nothing explicit?

Would be good to know since my next story is going to be slightly explicit. Probably a bit more description than Ponysneeze would put about the female anatomy.......

It would be nice to get the full details on that

On the one hand, Lunarpages' AUP does not strictly seem to permit 18+.

On the other hand, Sneezefurs uses the same host, and there's certainly 18+ there.

I think the general consensus (on the thread at the "PSF2" ProBoards site) was leaning towards linking to 18+ material offsite, but I don't think a final determination was made.

It's a decision for Darrin & Smiles.

I would still prefer you LINK to adult material.  No posting it on the forum.  Use a third party host, do not use our storage for it.  Smiles and I talked about this a lot upon build up, and we can go into further detail if you want.

If I wanted to do an 18+ picture (which...eh, I doubt.)  would my dropbox method work where I link the share link or...?

So we're not allowed to link any 18+ stuff. But are we allowed to discuss stuff like that here on the forum?

You can link.  We've said that for a long time now. LINK to the material, but give a warning.  Do not post the minatorial (Written or art) on the forum itself as it is against our rules.

No no no. I don't have links to stuff I want to post. I have more adult themed questions I wish to ask in a thread.

I understand the concern for questionable content.  Maybe cementing this more would be a good idea.

PM me.  It depends how adult themed these questions are.  If they are explicit no.  But if the conversation for a question naturally goes there, it is okay.  I just don't want the explicit content to be plastered on a title.

Well they could be explicit so I'll just leave it alone

We just don't want to risk anything.

We could consider a private, locked, adult content board.  It would be blocked by age and password.

The blue forum has that. Only people who are over 18 can be allowed in, WITH the permission of the admin.

That would be kinda tough though. How would you know someone isn't lying?
