It begins tomorrow Monday from 8am to 12 noon, which I'm guessing is just to train me and get prepared.
Nothing's concrete right now. After that it's the 4am to 1pm work schedule. I'm worried on what to bring, because I still have paperwork that I'm not sure is required to come with me or not.
I guess technically Orientation was my first day; it was pretty cool! We took a tour and watched videos, studied the various codes, and even see one of the freezers. It's six-below-zero in there, and all members are required to be in there for only 20 mnutes (with a heavy thick coat and jacket for protection) with 10 minute break intervals to shake it off.
I'm one of two artists who showed up on orientation; one girl draws anime doodles, which she draw on her packet, haha. She's a bit younger than me and anime wasn't really my thing (plus I was super tired) otherwise I would've drawn something with her between breaks.
The vest is pretty neat though, lol. It fits me. XD
All in all I'm excited as to how this'll all go. I'm the only 4am to 1pm shift guy there, everyone else wanted the 2pm to 11pm shift instead. Since I like working in the early mornings and I'm not really a people person, I think the 4am shift will do me much better. I'm sure I'll be in the back room a lot.
Really nice to have weekends off though. With the modest money I'll be making I'm sure it'll help cover what few expenses I have, and maybe I can invest and save up with some new things.
