Why would you do that to me?  Those are both bad....

Lets go with Jersey City, at least it has a waterfront with an impressive view of NYC.  It is the city for people wanting to work their way up to a condo in Manhattan.

Philly or Atlanta?

No one ever thinks of Jacksonville, probably not that pretentious and more laid back.  I choose Jacksonville.

Nashville or Memphis?

I've heard both are not that good of cities, but probably Nashville. It has a building that looks like Batman.........

Detroit or East St. Louis? ;)

Really? This is the rare choice I would pick Detroit.  I will buy up a ton of land super cheap and make a fortress complex for people to buy into and make it the new hub of Detroit. ;)

Live in the hills of Los Angeles. ;)  Look down at the folks in the smog.

That is a good match up right there.  Both are very desirable cities.  I might choose Salt Lake City because of the mountain scenery, but Boise is super close... I would choose Boise for other reasons, like family.

Wyoming or Montana?

Montana.  Have a ranch and be a cowboy, hunting down any Californians trying to move into my state.  I'd have a posse and we'd hog tie Californian's and ship them back to where they came from.

Boston or Hartford?

Smaller city, I choose Hartford.

I like your idea.  No states want Californian's moving in.  They truly do ruin everything, and ruin state demographic make ups.  Changes the entire states politics usually for the worse.

Portland Maine has better weather.  Charleston is a pretty town, but lots of crime.

How about.... Montreal or Quebec City?
