I’m my opinion this episode was a 5/10 for me. It’s not very interesting.

Time for a live watch friends! I don't have much excitement based off the synopsis as I don't really care for the school or the students that much. And anything with Yuna drives me bonkers (in a bad way). So let Negative Nelly here watch this episode with you!

So really, the only two who figured things out were the Grif and Smolder. Everyone else hasn't solved it themselves yet.

What kind of ending was that? Why did she look so happily over the grate? What's she scheming? What did I tell ya all. I don't trust her! Read my live watches from her first appearance in the show! I didn't trust her then! I still don't!

Okay, so that episode was pretty good to me. I liked it and it had good pacing and a fun adventure under ground. But it all seemed weird the tree was doing that and that Cozy was the way she was dividing them then her actions at the end. It was all very strange and seemed.... insincere from Cozy. I actually liked the Young Six again in another episode and I liked seeing them work together and solving their fears. It wasn't dribble or forced. It was all well done. And we got to see the cute griff guy sneeze. :D I liked that!

I'm surprised. I actually liked this episode a lot. I'd give it a good 8 score. I didn't expect that at all. I didn't think the tree was controlling this. At first I thought it was evil, but then I realized it wasn't trying to kill them or capture them. It was a good episode and the students did a great job and worked well with one another. I liked the interactions and think this was one of the better episodes with them in it! Gallus' sneeze was kinda hot too. ;)

I don't know about all of you, but I loved that episode! I loved seeing the young's star in a GOOD episode like this! The predicaments were fun and entertaining and I really felt it was a good episode. I liked seeing Smolder have to be cute! I liked seeing them face their fears and become closer to one another! I didn't expect anything that happened really. The synopsis had me truly worried but it was well worth the watch! 9/10!!!!

"What Lies Beneath" was a good episode with some good strengths and also some glaring, "I know whats going to happen." Though the ending with Cozy was a very big surprise. I haven't liked or trusted her character since the beginning just like Soda. She reminds me Darla Dimple from the movie, "Cats Don't Dance." Overly cutesy and nice, but sinister and evil. I don't trust her at all. I haven't seen any of the spoiler content, but that ending cemented it.
The characters worked surprisingly well together and it was decently written. Pacing was good. The biggest problem was just sort of a underlying feeling of knowing nothing bad would never actually happen to these characters. When there is no risk of anyone disappearing or getting hurt, it's sort of a... "who cares" kind of feeling. I didn't find the beginning that interesting, but it got good when they were underground. The twist with the tree controlling things... if it was in fact actually the tree... reminds me of how the Hist controls Argonian's in Tamriel.... scary.
8/10. Solidly good episode.
