If you go by what the stores are selling, as far as they're concerned summer is already in the can on July 5.  In the space of two days, on the shelf nearest the window, they went from stocking charcoal briquettes, pool floaties, sodas, and condiments to school supplies for the kiddies. C'mon, people, let 'em have another month of sun and fun to enjoy.  That said, today I did buy a notebook for just twenty-nine cents.

I already saw Halloween stuff at a crafts store in an actual display.

Right now they are promoting "back to school" but that will quickly transition into autumn stuff.

I will say I love it when places set up miniature Christmas village displays!  I absolutely love those, especially when they have moving pieces like ice skaters, or a train.

That is good to hear.  Just remember though, it will sometimes be negative then be positive.  It isn't always accurate, so it's best to test a few times.  This is what I've heard from many people.

That's how it happened for me a couple months ago. YOu feel sick but the tests won't come up positive for like a week.

I am curious to see how many people at PSF will have come down with this bug when it's all "over."  I know it won't ever be gone, but... you know... when the world fully opens up and goes back to normal everywhere and not just in 90% of places.

It's true - I hardly know anybody anymore who hasn't had the bug yet...

Most people I know have never had it yet (or knew they had it).  I'd say 90%. Even in my workplace environment, I only know of two women that got it and no one else got it.  That was back in 2021.
