So lets take a moment and step back.  Who are some characters who's designs you think are awesome or great for varying reasons?  Lets just look at a design aspect and appeal to you. :)

Cool topic.  Even bad shows can have cool character designs on at least one character.  I will put some thought into this.

Disney has some excellent designs, especially for "bad guys."  Let me show two from more recent times.

Dr. Facilier.  Sort of looks like Penny Proud's Dad sorta...

I find this to be a fascinating topic if people contributed.  Great topic idea.  I have thought heavily and there are many great character designs.  I'm looking in the film Iron Giant which has a 50s tone to it in the design, and I can name many characters from that as neatly designed characters.
