Sounds like you got a funny household there.  My Mom would do that sometimes, but not often enough to call it a tic or anything.  My Dad will commonly say something before he thinks out what he is trying to say.

Thanks for talking to me!  I really dislike having to go, just so ya know.  I like talking, but never seem like I can get into it deeply unless it is the weekend because of WORK!  ARG!

Oh jeez. Actually, I think that was a glitch in Fallout:New Vegas that kinda broke your game. If you exit/enter a place, it autosaves, so if you died as it was saving you'd just be in a constant death loop or something

Yeah, thats exactly right!  That is a good example.  I also have played other games where I save right before unknowingly having to fight a boss.  I just happen to be in a spot where I can't go back or something and get better weapons or armor, so I just die over and over.
