A new "smashed car count", since I watched a movie. Possible spoilers.

SHORT TIME (1990)

A police car (1984 Dodge Diplomat) is blown up. That's one.

A 1988 Lincoln Town Car has its door blown off, and gets hit by another '84 Diplomat later on. That makes two and three.

ANOTHER 1984 Dodge Diplomat, and a 1976 Pontiac Catalina are completely wrecked in the famous car chase scene. That makes four and five. And if you count the 1982 Plymouth Caravelle (Canadian version of the Gran Fury) that was used as a stunt double for the Dodge, that makes six.

[car chase]
About five police cars get shot at. That makes eleven.
A 1978 Dodge Aspen is hit by the Pontiac. That makes twelve.
Both cars crash into a parked 1978 Plymouth Volaré. That makes thirteen.
A 1977 Ford Courier and a couple of other cars crash. That makes sixteen.
Two cars are DRIVEN OVER by the two main vehicles! That makes eighteen.
A 1973 Volkswagen Sedan is hit when the Pontiac lands from the final crash. That makes nineteen.
[/car chase] [total: 13]

A city bus (GMDD T6H-4521) smashes into stuff on a sidewalk. That makes twenty.

TOTAL: 21

There's some gritty action sequences, but this movie still has its funny moments. Recommended. :)

True grit.
