I've only ever cosplayed once -- I was intending to be Tamama from Keroro Gunso (http://orig05.deviantart.net/68b3/f/2009/323/7/e/sgt__frog__tamama_by_wolfwhiskers.jpg) for a "convention" that my library's Anime Club was holding. :P Honestly, it was a really poorly put together costume, but I was still pretty young and didn't know much about how it worked. xD
I've always wanted to take another crack at it, though! I know how much time and effort it takes but I'd be up for the challenge. If I do end up going to BroadwayCon next winter, I have a very detailed list of who I would want to cosplay as. xD

The first big turn off for me is the art style. I find that cell shading style art very gimmicky and cheap... personally.

See THAT is what bothers me. Yes they're 3d models and the animation in the first season is meh in some areas. But the characters, the story, and the lore are so frickin great you can't help but be sucked in. The music is also pretty kick ass! I posted the 4 trailers for it in the RWBY thread. Maybe give those a shot?

Watched the white trailer, because there was a girl on it. She sang good. I'm surprised Rooster Teeth is successful enough to make their own original series. I thought RWBY was some cheap anime using 3D models. But I can be a lot more forgiving now that I know it is just Rooster Teeth, no one professional.

Rwby is an anime styled web series. The creator Monty Oum (Who also provided the voice of Lie Ren) taught himself how to animate so he could create his own content. Rooster Teeth caught sight of this and hired him, and thus RWBY was put into production. It became very popular. Hot Topic is even selling merch of it and there was even its own video game produced.
Sadly though, Monty Oum passed away last year due to an unforseen allergic reaction during surgery. His legacy will never bee forgotten by his fans.

That's all great and all, but there are so many artists who should be noticed. So many untold stories. It kills me to think of that. Glad he got to live his dream for awhile. :)

His dream is actually still living as we speak. He died shortly after season 2 was completed and season 3 just ended this past february. Season 4 is slated to start this october now.
Even without the main creator with them, the staff is still able to take what he left them and make something amazing out of it.
It reminds me of MLP and Lauren Faust to be honest...........though with noticeable differences. Fause chose to leave and Oum died.

If you like anime, cute girls, and tanks, you should do Girls Und Panzer. Has a cult following and you'd probably get a lot of hits because people search it, and there isn't a ton of new things made about it everyday, so you would actually get found!

So yeah, in short, in this world, students go to school on giant air craft carrier type ships and they have "tankery" as an elective to choose. It helps them in tactics and something... anyways, they are an underdog team and work to go to a championship. I don't want to give it all away.... the plot is much better then what I said. Each school represents a different style and sort of a different nation (kind of).
It is available in English and Japanese with dub. Both are well done.

I also never saw you as a tank and WWII nut. I don't know anything about tanks except for what I learned in that cartoon. Oh, and I know our modern US military tanks are called Abrams or something like Abraham Lincoln, lol!

I have always been a HUGE fan of WWI and WWII. If I wasn't a Vet person I'd have probably maybe gone into history. Who knows. I like history, it's so interesting. But yeah, like as young as 4th grade I've read about the Holocust and WWII. WWI is just super confusing and convuluted how it all started haha. WWII though is super interesting. Reading up on like the Germans, the troops and civilians. And of course the stuff they used. And can't forget their impeccable style. Then of course there's my unhealthy obsession with Russia and the Soviet Union. I own one of their surplus military ushanka's with a communist Russia pin. I... I have issues.
And my cosplay for BC (if I manage to go) will involve Germans. Too bad I'm not white enough lol.

Civil War is fascinating to me, but I will focus on WWII. You will appreciate this, and it's so weird you brough up a WWII helmet. So I went to this job fair/home show thing today and this guy was selling a WWII book he wrote about his father and he had WWII stuff he Dad had brought back home! He let me try on a NAZI HELMET!!! I was talking to him for like twenty minutes and he was so excited someone was talking with him! He also had a Nazi flag that they hung from street poles and several medals and a FREAKING SS UNIFORM! He had a freaking black SS uniform with a red band and all the stuff on it! They were all originals and I like pooped myself in excitement. He also had American stuff too, which was very cool.

An ACTUAL REAL SS OFFICER UNIFORM!! Holy shoot, that's crazy! I would have been there all day, I wouldn't have been able to leave. That is just, oh my god, I would have passed out. That is so amazing. You got to wear a Nazi helmet!!?? That is beyond cool.

Yeah! Oh gosh, I wish I would have had a friend with me who cared as much. You would have freaked. He handed me the helmet and told me to hold it, so I did. It was heavy duty. He then said I could put it on and see if it fits... I was like... uhhh, really? I don't want to taint it. He urged me too, so I did under PURE PEER PRESSURE. It was actually smaller then I thought. Small head, but I was like... oh my gosh, I am wearing history.
The SS uniform had some badges on it, not a whole lot. I didn't see an SS hat, but he said he had a lot of other stuff in storage. I wanted to just follow the dude to his garage and see all his stuff and keep talking.
As for his father, he was a US pilot who was shot down with his crew and landed in occupied Holland and had to escape Nazi's on his way to Belgium.

I would have like, had a history orgasm as soon as that helmet was placed in my hands. Like oh my god, I'm holding a legend. I've noticed that with some helmets. They're really small. Makes ou wonder how many underage soldiers there were if they're even hard for a females head to fit in some of them.
Dude, tell me you room pictures. That stuff is so rare to find! Like, wow. It has the arm band and the badges and everything. Like wowzers.
But wow! That's super crazy about his dad. I'm glad he survived. Pilot, damn, that's pretty good right there. Very dangerous. So how'd he get all this Nazi stuff? Did his dad just confiscate it?

I didn't get pictures! :( I didn't even think of it, I was so caught up in the moment. I thought of it after I left and that high went down.
He said his Dad as well as some friends gathered stuff, but didn't go into detail. This dude also went over there well after the war and he said he got stuff too. I don't know the full story. Something else he had that interested me was his Dad's map he had with him as a pilot. These pilots had these paper maps and they had to understand it and know where they were based on these old maps! It was crazy. How could you tell anything at night, in the darkness, or with clouds and smoke all around. Just crazy!

Good drawings too. That artist always creeped me out a bit. They make everything so bubbly and draw stallions butts, which I never liked. But they did a great job on your commissions. :) That is awesome.

That is a lot of subscribers. I had a Youtube channel I made with my friends years ago, and we had a lot of cool short films we made... I thought they were cool. Our 22 subscribers were the only other people who thought so.

I thought of that but the thing is that's what Bronies React does for an hour long video on average. I don't want to rip those off. And right now I have a few ideas to make the intros and outros more interesting, with cooperation from Stormageddon. XD And to answer your earlier question River some times the views are high, other times they are low. Since RWBY is getting hyped up for volume 4 premiering in less then 2 weeks those are obviously my most popular.
One of the plans I have involves me getting a power ranger morpher and literally morphing into Princess Deadpool. Hopefully I can get my hands on one before the new trailer for the upcoming Power Rangers movie comes out. And no I don't mean the teaser thats already been released.

Kids still love the Power Rangers. Hell even I dabble in the more recent stuff. Some of it hits, some...doesn't. *Shudder* Samurai and Megaforce. But the Super Sentai series in Japan that spawned it doesn't seem like its gonna stop. And so long as they don't its likely Power Rangers won't either.

I've been quite passionate about cosplay and basically started Transformers cosplay culture in Finland, by taking part in cosplay contest as, you guessed it! Nemesis Prime from Transformers Armada series. Took even 3rd place with unbelievable movement XD Before that there had been no robot cosplayers anywhere, but after that there has been few here and there. Guess they just needed a nudge from Prime to give others courage to come out from disguises XD
