I would choose Duluth, it's pretty cool.  Thunder Bay is in the middle of nowhere Canada.

Lower Michigan or Upper Michigan?

I like how we have moved into smaller cities, lol.  So this is a good question.  I like the scenery of Spokane way better, but I think Boise might be a better place to raise a family.  So for family I would pick THE BOIS, but if it was just myself, Spokane has for more things to do and recreation and fun stuff.

How about... Fresno or Stockton?

Big variation there.  Crescent City because it is coastal, has more appeasing weather, and actually has natural beauty.

Seattle or Portland, ORE?

Oooh.  Both are artsy fartsy.  Bellingham has a university too, but Bend has a million micro brews...

I would have to choose Bellingham because of the vicinity to the ocean.  Both towns have amazing scenery, but the water is better and that gives Bham the win.

Oakland or Oxnard?

Oxnard is a flat heap.  Oakland is a crime hub.  I guess I would choose Oxnard, maybe by the coast if I could.
